I'd like to know if most of you here do accept friend requests on Facebook even if you really don't know them in real life. Do you? Or do you only choose as to whom you would approve to be your friends on facebook. Or if ever you feel you don't know them at all, do you at least, spend time to ask if you both know each other or could be, both of you have common friends? Please share your thoughts here. Thank you and happy mylotting, everyone!

I only tend to accept friend invites from people I know personally, once in a great while I will accept a friend invite from a mutual friend, but if I get an invite from a stranger I normally don't.

Facebook is a place where view share our ideas with our friends and stay connected with each other no matter where ever they are. Accepting request from people who are completely strangers to you, will be of a waste of time. Yes, if you see some mutual friend , you could always checkout who that person is actually linked with and if you feel you may know that person send him a personal message to confirm. Hope I was helpful

Up to this point, I don't even like Facebook at all. I'm not going in to details about what it really is, because a lot of people are going to get pissed and second, even I'm using it despite of not likening it. The only way to get in contact with some of my friends is Facebook so... Now, let's get to the to the point. I've been in the situation you're talking about, in Facebook and not only and first I'm asking who is it if no introduction is present and then I accept, but only if I really know the person requesting. P.S. Sorry for getting off topic in the beginning(again).
