Yesterday, I went out with my friend for a dinner, since we haven't seen each other for over 2 months, due to my busy schedule, and my laziness. Monday also I got a day off from work, why not call up my friend, and we can hang out. I suggested him to our usual restaurant, but this time, I let him pick the one he wants. Then he pick a Korean restaurant we never been to before. I am not that familiar with Korean cuisine, but this time it really change my mind. They got all these delicious side dishes, including Kimchi, and fried fish. They our main dish come with a big bowl of Tofu soup, that taste absolutely tasty. I ordered a Squid dish that come with Purple rice, the combination of them a bit spicy for me, but stimulate my appetite though. My friend order BBQ ribs that is tradition of Korean BBQ beef. My friend condone me for a bit. It was just good. I will come back for Korean cuisine again. Anyone here who also in love of Korean dishes?

I like trying different food myself. I'm Korean myself & obviously, I grew up with it. Like with any other "foreign country's" traditional food, there are some that you just have to born into it. I remember few month ago, me & my girl-friend went to our mutual friend's house for his birthday. He lives close to both his parents & grand parents. Our friend was born here but his parents & grand parents were born in Iceland. They made their traditional "sheeps head" & some mashed potato's. I couldn't bring myself to eat it. There's a reason why I bring this up. Going back to traditional Korean food, there's a food that I loved growing up. It's called "Soondae" or "sundae". It's made with either cow's or pig's intestines. You can look up how it's made but it sounds a lot worse than it really is. I don't want to go into a detail because I don't wanna turn you away from trying Korean food.

hi:)
I also like Korean food, I like spicy food. I like their dduk guk (rice soup)I like how chewy it is and smooth at the same time, it's so yummy, Koreans usually eat this dish made from dduk (rice)and dumplings with I think broth in it. all the dishes you mentioned here makes me drool:D
