Is this a friend?

I have this "friend" we hadnt known each other all that long (a few months)and she got pregnant by my brother. They had a falling out and broke up about 5 months into the pregnancy. She lost the baby and doctors have no idea why. She recently told me that she got kicked out of her house and that her grandfather passed away.
Well..... I just found out that she lied about her age, she didnt get kicked out, she was never pregnant (the ultrasounds had someone elses name on them), and the biggest kicker of all........her grandfather is still alive. She still insists she isnt lying about anything. I dont know if I should feel sorry for her or just walk away. She is only 16 years old.

I think you should just be her friend and accept everything that she says. Unless she tries to manipulate you for money then you should block her out,but maybe she just seeks attention or someone to talk to so if you really want to help her out, just do it. I would'nt.

She hasnt asked for money but it wouldnt matter if she had. Im a stay at home mother of 3. There is no way my husband would give into giving just anyone money.

Haha cvsuperman16 is contradicting himself. If she manipulates you for money? Is that where you draw the line, when it has something to do with money? She manipulated your brother for petes sake! I had a friend like her - she's lied about having an incurable heart problem and being bullied and about not stalking another friend. If you wanna help her, get her some professional help. You'd do her a very big favor.

She isnt speaking to any of us anymore so I guess she has decided to cut us all out. I hope someone can help her before its too late.

I would not go on trying to be friend of her. She has lied about important things and she seems a compulsive lier. I´m sure that she you continue your frindship, it can get very dangerous for you.
