This song, I offer and always remember my mother. I always feel a pinch in my heart when this song is played. I love this song. And during videoke session, my mother would always sing this. She is my hero, and my dad. "Dance with my father" also makes me cry. :'( How about you? who is your hero? What song makes you cry or really touches your heart?

Wind beneath my wings is such an awesome song with beautiful words and melody. It can apply to so many situations and is universally loved. It will be a classic for generations to come in my opinion.

I do hope some songs apply very well in your life too. Yes my mother make ssure she shows her love to us. Although sometimes, her love can be suffocating. Still, she has most of the times with great outcomes. :)

That is true. My mother sang that a while ago, much more it made me feel teary-eyed. Good thing my cousin was there near me. I was hugging him tight while my mother was singing. I will eternally connect that song to her. My strength and refuge. My mother. I love her.

I love that song. And, the "wind beneath my wing" is my dad. Growing up, I was closer to him than with my mom. Even my career path, I patterned after his. And, as I answer your discussion, I feel my eyes starting to mist. I miss him because I live in another city. Yesterday, he celebrated his 60th and would you believe I forgot! I texted this morning and asked if it's his birthday today and he said, it was yesterday! Bad me...I thought today is the 6th! I hope that I could be as caring to him, as he was to me, when he grows really old.

The thought counts. It was never too late to say happy birthday. DO have some time to get close to him. To be near him more and show him your love. To show him your Care. :)

I love the songs! Every time it plays, i become too emotional most especially with the song "Dance with my father". It reminds me of my late father and we never had a chance to hug each other. My family is my heroes. I love them all. There are tons of songs that touches my heart. Songs are indeed good.

Oh! I feel you. MY family is my heroes too. I look up to them all the time. Songs I can associate with my family would be inspirational ones like "Hero" by MAriah Carey, "I look to you" by Whitney Houston. I love them.

My parents. They passed away when i was 13. Time spent with them was too short and i wish we could have spent more time with each other. I wanted to show off my achievement. Though i know they are aware of this somewhere out there... My dad always believed in what i can do. He was always proud of me. I was the most beautiful daughter and the smartest one before his eyes.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. At an early age, I understand it must have been a rough journey onward. I am glad in spite of what happened in your life, you pulled through. I am sure wherever your parents are right now, they are in good hands and so proud that even as they went on to the afterlife. Their daughter never stopped living. :)

Oh that is a very nice song...I like it!:) The songs that touch my heart may vary from moment to moment, day to day, etc, depending on what's going on in my life at a particular point in time.

Same as me. My heroes are also my parents. I value their advice though sometimes I get stubborn. Somehow, I find my way back to what they tell me.

Me too. I'm very very stubborn. I sometimes don't listen to them, ignore them, then in the end, I regret it..
