my country is a bigger palm oil producer. but, not just from government, or company, but from people too, they harm the jungle just for palm. when i go back to my village, i'm not see a big jungle anymore, just a palm tree and damaged soil. no one wanna think about what happen to earth, including company from government. money.. and money. that just what they think.

Big corporations don't really care what they destroy in order to achieve profit it seems. There is environmental degradation worldwide caused by over exploitation of resources and that is causing serious harm to the environment.

It is the mentality of the people that needs to be changed, starting from the people in the government. The general population tend to follow the examples shown by a leaser. One attitude which needs to be changed is the 'could not care less' outlook towards life and the future, with statements like 'The future is for the next generation to worry about', and 'it is the will of God.'

So you can not see any more big jungle in your village, you can only see oil, palm plantation , is that what you means? Isn't that better for you to live along plantation than jungle, at least the oil palm plantation can generate job and revenue for the land while jungle can't. May be you don't need such a big jungle to live in after all and need to accept a bit of development too in your village in this modern age.

it has too much palm plantation, not just from fabric, but from individual people too. they not use their own property, they destroy a pure jungle around village.

It's been a lot of forests are lost, or damaged. I also found, many fields have turned into a settlement, or a factory. Forest on the slopes, too much has been cut down. It is very dangerous.
