Is NATO helping or fighting terrorism ?

Was the uprisings in Syria inspired by the Tunisian and Egyptian revolution?
or was it backed and funded by outside forces? but was made to look as inspired by the "Arab spring"?

Hello friend welcome to My Lot. We cannot decide whether a thing is supported or not supported as per NATO. I think It some times helps and some times crushes Terrorism. Because even in NATO there are some loose phrases which are seeming that they are helping Terrorism but, NATO is founded to anti- Terrorism activities.
