during our training as call center agents we were encouraged by our instructor to always read an English book and to read it aloud. it helps familiarize your tongue with the English language.

No problem. That is one of the best ways. also find immersing yourself in the language in things like books, or movies and cartoons and so on helps as well. I will help whenever I can. You will also be benefited by learning a lot of the slang that is used as well as what people mean by certain words because sometimes a book definition is not what the person means when they use the word.

I think you have done very well. English was one of my favorite subjects school. There's a lot more to learning english than you might think. There's also sentence structure, correct punctuation, and the all important spell check, just to name a few. If it's possible for you to attend classes, I think that would be a great way to further your education with english. Well Yes, Practicing is the key to learn English faster and to improve it. There are many websites that offer you online couching for some dollars. And I have heard, these couching are really effective. You can also use goggle for more tips.

Hi 1moretry, From what I see your English is pretty good. Yes, you can probably learn good English skills from sites like mylot where you can participate in discussions such as these and you also get to practise by responding to them. You need to be discerning though as to which are the ones with good English skills. But you'll not be able to learn speaking skills here. Perhaps you could access sites like BBC where they have very good programmes conducted by native speakers of English. Have a good day.

You are right.Practice makes us perfect.I would like to suggest you to read books by great writers and learn new words and their usage.Then try to use them in sentences of your own.Try to write small paragraphs using those words.If you want to improve your speaking skills,then try to speak in English more and more whenever it is possible.It is not necessary to speak English like the Englishmen or Americans.Speak in your own way.I think,that is enough.

The best way to write and speak English is, you should take help from YouTube video tutorials. this is the best way of learning English graimer and every thing you want.

if you really want to speak english, I recomend british which is better than anything. Watch a lot of movies. If you have a doubt do not try look the translation but the meaning in english so that you can learn more english. I am not from United States but I work for Greyhound and Bolt bus which are one of the biggest bus companies in United States and the only way I learn was by practicing. Watch a lot of movies or series in English for learning more and the the most accurate as possible.

You should go to Spoken English Class. There learn more. And then, talk English in your home to your family members. In that way you will learn English more. And try to watch English movie., Pure English.. Listen English songs...

yes in order to improve your english, you need to practice it everyday. besides you can tune into an english news channel and read out the headlines flashing on that channel. you can talk to english speaking people and discuss with them on different topics. you can also read good english books and improve your grammer too. also you can take help of mylot where you can post discussions and comment on each such discussions and therby sharpen your english writing and speaking ability.

I agree with necterash, I think reading books in english will do you good, you don't have to check out each word or so just go on with reading, you will catch it up in the context and you will tame with language. Also, if you're aural listening to music and watching movies (with subtitles I'd recommend) is a great way to learn english and not lose contact with language.
