I had SavingStar as one of my e-mails on mypoints. I've heard of something like this but not exactly. From what I gather you are supposed to register your grocery store savings card and then link coupons to the card. So when you buy an item you don't get the discount directly, it goes into an account at SavingStar and then you save the money and get it put in your acct via paypal or so it says. Now it also says if you don't use it in 12 mo they'll charge you $1.99/mo. Now if you are not using this how can they do that on something that is supposed to be "free"? And if you are not using it wouldn't be easier to close out a membership than to charge them a fee when and if they do decide to use it? And if you don't use it do they try to send you a bill to you to pay it some how? I'm not quite understanding this.
And how do you know the coupons you select have not expired? Do they say when they expire? As I'm someone if I want to buy something with a coupon I'll buy it when it's on sale not at full price and then use my coupon.
All I was hoping it was, that it was a site where you picked your coupons and they were attached to your card and it comes off electronically when you redeem and you didn't have to clip any coupons.
Any imput would be appreciated. Not that I use coupons too much but that's between not getting the sunday paper, Aldi is usually cheaper, and I haven't had the cash or made it a priority to get new ink for my printer cause it wants all the colors not just one.
