When I was young, I was quite sensitive to the numbers. The reason for that may be I do not have much pocket money, so I have to make two ends meet. But now, though my income is not very high, the situation is much better. Now when I go shopping, I will buy some useless things just for they are lovely. And I do not have a concept of number now. The problem become worse after I have the credit card. The number only means a number, while at the end of the month, i will find out that i have spent more than I planned. Can you help me? Do you seneitive to numbers?

I am very sensitive to numbers. I only buy things on clearnace when shopping for clothes and i always try to use the emailed coupons i have to even save more. I shop with retail coupons to save money of course and then i do try to buy te items on cearnace to even save more of course. Im sure im not the only one trying to do this but when you dont have alot of money to spend you try saving as much as you can as well. I also use coupons when at the grocery store as well, saving any little bit of money helps. I also will buy store brans instead of the name brand products on alot of items to save money as well because its cheaper and will help me out in the end.

You are a great person that know how to lead a good with less expenses. I think i should learn something from you. I like to go shopping on clearance , but as at that time, all things seems quite cheap, I prefer to buy something which I really not need. And as buy things by card not cash, the feeling of losing money is not so strong. Maybe I should collect coupons and use it only when I need to buy something.

Hi funny dandan:Like you I am insensitive to numbers. But what the difference between you and me is that I have not a concept of number all the time even when I was young but you are sensitive to number until you grow up. Every time when I go to grocery or supermarket I would spend a large sum of money which far exceed my purchasing power because I ofen buy some luxury products even if they are useless for me.As a result,I ofen fall into financial crisis and now I want to form a habit to make a shoping list before going out.I this way will more or less help me save some extra expenses.

I think I'm not. I do not do budgets. My wife do that for me. She is the one who buys the groceries and shopping. ALso, we do not use credit cards.

I always look at the prie at things if I think it is too expensive I would not get it. I would wait to see if it goes on clearance. I have many bills to pay and rent to pay as well if I don't need it I probably wouldn't get it.

Yup, I am. I always plan at least one mth in advance. B4 I get my paycheck, I would start to think of who's birthday is coming up, what additional expenses I might have in the upcoming mth, etc. I also make sure I set aside a certain amount for emergency expenses and for savings. So, maybe you could start by planning ahead and keeping to your budget. For me, I do occasionally overspend but I will try to cut down on certain expenses to make up for that.

I didn't care about numbers at all when I was a child. But now,as a college student,I am much more sensitive to numbers.I have a great many things to buy, escepically something quite cute even if they are unuseful. So I often run out of my money, which make me worried. But I can't stop it.And therefore,I will not take much money when going shopping, which can stop me from buying lots of things involuntarily.
