My definition of caring is being there when someone needed you or needs help. But how about when no need is needed; how do you show you care? Is caring limited to taking care of a person who is sick, sufferring from a loss or tragedy or is in a mess? Does excelling in a field also means caring? By being who you are, harnessing your skills and knowledge and showing the world what you got also means caring? I'm at lost for I really don't know what is the scope of that word in our life and the effects it has on how we relate to others and to our environment. How about you? How do you show you care and for what reasons?

There are many ways to show you care for a person. It all comes from the heart. You may love them, rejoice for them, listen to their problems, feel their emotions, be there for them, cry and laugh with them, help them, etc.

Hi Lazybug. Probably I can give you an example on how do I care for my boyfriend. My boyfriend used to work late in the office, way after the official working hours. I would once in a blue moon drop by his office to deliver his dinner. Just a way for me to show that I care for him and also to mentally suppport him in his work :)

Spending your time with someone is a way of showing that you care. Time is valuable and you can never return it back. Being helpful and honest is also one way of showing that you care. I also show my care by making those people feel that they are my priority.

Chiwasaki.... thanks for commenting.. what you state is so true. There is no big things or small things in caring all are equal. It is not the thought but the presence that count...
