Best Time of Week to Go to a Theme Park

We all have heard of the best times of year to go to a theme park. Avoid Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving, and other holidays that can draw big crowds. But what about the best times of the week to go? Obviously the weekends are not optimal crowdwise. For me, it's Tuesday to Thursday, as they are not as busy as the other weekdays. Parents are working at those days anyway. In your opinion, what are the most optimal days of the week to ride the rides?

Years ago we used to go to Disneyland on Christmas Eve..the park was 'empty' I would think any day of the week would be ok..maybe not Friday.

Good answer, but include the weekends too. Kids are generally out of school and parents are off work. The two factors combine to create generally bigger crowds, therefore inducing long lines.
