Im talking about at the grocery store only. I try to use coupons everytime i go to the grocery store. It of course does save you money in the end unless the store brand is going to be cheaper with sing your coupon. I try to look for coupons for items that are buy one get one free at my local grocery store therefor i now im doing good and saving as well. If i didnt live at home i would be using the coupons a little more than my mom likes to. I like going to our local grocery store and getting the receipt at the end with savings over 50 like we did about three weeks ago. It was amazing and you feel so happy because you used so manycoupons and did your reserach with there flyer. Do you use coupons or dont like to be bothered with the aggrevation?

If I have time to clip those coupons at home, I would definitely do it. But I was just too lazy to do so. In contrast, my mom has all the time in the world, and he definitely would use those coupons anyway she can. I admire her patience, and her enthusiasm about those coupons.

I clip coupons, but don't always use them. I purchased a book called how to shop for free, i am still in the process of reading it and learning, however i have learned that you shouldnt use your coupons as soon as they come out, becuase if you wait a few weeks, the items that the coupons are for usually go on sale! Also try to find a store that will double manufacturer coupons!

I guess it's good if the coupon is for something you would have bought anyway. I feel like sometimes coupons are solely there to get you to buy something you don't need, you know? Or that you wouldn't have bought without the coupon anyway. I rarely ever use coupons as I don't even get the paper. Unless I happen to get sent some in the mail or find them online!

Personally for the most part it really depends on what we are getting, and what store we are going to be shopping at that day. There are some discount type grocery stores here in our area that are not equipped to take coupons so then I usually do not even bother trying to have any with me. But I do know if you use them at places that will take them a lot of times you can make quite a dent on your bill sometimes as well.

I clip them but often forget to take them with me or cannot locate the right ones when I am in the store. I need to get a better organizer.

This woold be like that show! Where they use a lot of coupons and it's amazing how much they save when they tally it up. I'm sure it's very satisfying to get all that savings when you shop. I don't clip. I just use the coupons whatever the store have in the front. It's just a few cents here and there, which is about a buck or two savings. Not bad.

Yes, I do use coupons for my shopping. Every other week or so, we get sent a pile of flyers and there's a booklet with a few pages of coupon savings in it. I usually browse through for the things I usually get and they're mostly on it. I'll clip them out and put them in my wallet. So, every time I head to the shops, I always remember to use those coupons and I'm happy to say that they've saved me some money.

I take my coupons with me when I go shopping unless I am only going to get one or 2 items. I clip the coupons that I will use from the coupon flyers and I go to a couple of coupon websites and download coupons for items I know I will use. It only takes a few minutes each week. I don't just keep the buy one get one free coupons - many grocery stores will double or even triple the value of the coupon up to a dollar and if you can get a dollar off of several items each week it adds up to some good savings. If it is an item that I buy a lot of, after I clip the coupon from the paper, I go to ebay and buy coupons for that item there - a lot of times, I can buy $10 - $20 worth of coupons for just $2 - $3. I just have to be sure that I will have time to use all the coupons before they expire.

I love coupons!!! It definitely makes my grocery budget go a lot farther!! We are able to eat more exciting meals because of the variety of things I am able to purchase. Although some times it does require me to get creative! Like the plan for tomorrow nights dinner is a turkey and rice casserole. Not sure what else I am going to put in it... but I am sure I will come up with something! Hopefully it turns out delicious. The trick is to make sure you are using all of the food after your hard work of matching the coupons to the flyer and getting the best deals. Wouldnt want that work to get thrown in the trash with food that goes bad!! Keep up the good work! I hope you can convince your mom to use more coupons to save some money for something else fun!
