Do you have a passion for life?

True passion for life comes from being able to be in awe of everything that is around us. Slowing down and becoming conscious of the small things we usually don't notice allows us to see the complexity of our daily existence. Instead of being overly excited and missing what is happening around us, we need to tune into the intricacies of our surroundings. By taking time to see life in this way, we will have a way to be in the present moment and be immersed in a sense of joy and amazement at the wonders of even the smallest aspects of life. Each and every moment should be seized and lived fully. Do you agree?

The only passion I have now is regarding computer graphics art. I really want to take a course and finish it. That way I can apply for a job that relates to my interest. I initially took up civil engineering but that's not really what I wanted. I've always wanted to do character designs, animations, and complete a feature film while working with a team of fellow cg artists. That would be my dream job.

Usually happiness comes from small things in live that we don't seem to appreciate at the moment.

Even us who have nothing to do, no job to go to, no family to feed and take care of, get caught up in the hurry and busy busyness of our world. Hubby's way of coping with this is to walk and drive slowly, he says he's in no hurry and wants to be sure he doesn't miss a bit of life. We don't let him drive often, and when we do we make sure he stays on the back roads and sit way downin the car seat.

wow that sounds fantastic! I wish I could see things that way again, all I do is think and make things too complex in my head. I want to enjoy life again and it seems like I can't force that upon myself and it just has to come over me. I never forced my happiness in the past, well maybe on the outside but not internally. Your completely right and everyone should experience the world like that and enjoy the little things, just be happy. Sadly its not something you can force yourself to feel.

Hi Lucyalicia, You're right, we can't force ourselves to feel happy, we need to relax a little. Life is really very simple but we have to stop that constant chatter in our head. Try some quiet time alone when you can go into the silence and just be. Thank you for responding to this discussion and I appreciate your comments. Blessings.

I do have a passion for my life, and I think that it is incredibly sad when you see people who just don't have this passion at all. I have a life plan, and I know that I would like to buy a house within the next five years and then have some children and bring them up the way that I think that children should be raised. I would also very much like to be able to travel the world, but I plan to do that a little bit later in life when my children are grown up, and I would like to spend at least a decade just going to all of the places that I have ever wanted to go to at some point during my life.

Hi Pose: I agree with you. I have a personal exercise that help me a lot to get aware of all the beautiful things that are near me and that make me happy. I try to small and say thanks to God for all the small things that are around me and make me so happy. Saying thanks for even the simple things that we take for granted has helped me to appreciate them more. ALVARO
