There is a new terror attack for America on 911. I was just watching the news and Cleveland Ohio is beefing up their security because of the big browns games going on.this threat has some people traveling on edge. What do you think of this new threat? Do you think we should worry?

I think we should ALWAYS be prepared. Not just on 9/11 but every day, there's a lot of threads in our country ESPECIALLY those who are citizens here, we shouldn't have to look over our shoulders and wonder if we are going to die, though most people don't but I think it's best to always be prepared rather than pick and choose dates because of some kind of significance.

Well there was a threat about something with a vehicle that is why they are specifying that specific date. We should be prepared but when we wake up in the morning we do not think about terror attacks. But when r are remembering things and events that happened like this date in particle it gets stressful. But there was a threat it was just on the news.

What happened back then was already horrible. I think they should take extra precaution on this one. There were a lot of people killed back then and it's worth it happening again.

Yeah it is the 10 th year anniversary of 9/11. Plus they already were threatened that something will happen again. That's why it has some people on edge and some taking extra Precaution. These threats can be very scary especially since there mission was complete in 9/11 ten years ago.

They should watch out. You're right, I smell vengeance. There might be other successors of Bin Laden out there. They should consider doubling their posts for extra security.

We won't know until the day comes. As far as I am concerned, as long as the powers that be, are aware and prepared for a possible incident, the rest of the population shouldn't have to worry. After all, isn't worrying, just what the terrorists WANT? I am not going to let them win!

That is a good point. Plus even the people on the news were like I am not going to let that ruin my day. So they were skeptical at first but decided what the heck hopefully we have good security.

There is always some crazy group out there trying to hurt people. I have a simple way of thinking about worry. It's mildly carefree really. It goes like this. Should I worry? Question: Can I do something about it? IF no, then why worry about something I can't do anything about? If it's going to happen, then it will. If it's not, then it won't. I can't do anything either way, so why bother thinking about it? If yes, then do whatever it is that you can. Worrying about it, won't change it. So do what you can, if that helps great, if not then at least you tried, but still no reason to worry. Worrying about it, is exactly what the terrorist want. They want you to worry, and demand your government appease them, so they get what they want. That's the reason we call them terrorists, they intend to cause terror to make people worry. I would rather you enjoy life. If something happens, we'll go from there, but until then forget those scum bags exist.

Yeah. I am sure if I lived in new York I would be a little more scared and probably stay somewhere else during that time but I don't I live far but not to far. Where I live is nonexistent. So I do not worry to much. You are right if it is going to happen then it will but if we watch and be alert we have a better chance at stopping it from happening. Like people who are traveling in air lines say that they will fight this time if they are hijacked again.

Hello Amanda, There's always a good reason to be worried about things and it's not always watching the news of possible terrorism only that we should prepare ourselves. we have been reminded again and again that we should be vigilant as always on terrorism because you never know what could happen. News always comes late when ever something explodes. we should worry a little but be very vigilant, look around you and see the people, notice their moves

Yeah the news did say to just watch around you for anything suspicious. If you see anything suspicious then give the police a call so they can check it out. I am grateful that I do not live near any of these big cities so the outcome of it happening near me is a little lower. Although I am close to pennsylvania.

US should always be prepared for this new terror attack. They should not ignore it. It should be taken seriously.

They are taking it very serious already. They have upped the security and servalence. We are all being told to report something suspicious that is going on. I live about one hour away from cleveland and there is an American football game going on there sunday so there are going to be a lot of people. So they are definitely watching that as well.

Unless I missed it in the news, nothing happened over the weekend (except for the Browns getting beat up by the Bengals). I think that after what happenned on 911, everyone should be vigilant and be careful. We shouldn't stop from going to bit gatherings like sports events, but we should always be mindful about suspicious activities leading up to the event. Stay safe!

We should be ever vigilant against a terror attack no matter where we are, and these...have a funny habit of wanting to do it more when we are celebrating something, it's their crazy way of making their point and they could score a greater kill rate where people converge. In our country, they struck on Rizal Day ( our national hero),years ago so they called it Rizal day bombing and got a lot of innocent people including children. We have to be ever vigilant but at the same time go about things we naturally do as normal as possible to deny them of their first objective of sowing fear and disrupting daily lives.

Yes they definitely want fear and terror in our lives. I can not believe that my little closed mind just found out that united states of America is not the only ones at war with iraq. I really need to expand my studies and research. I am embarrassed.

No need to be embarrassed dear, actually the Iraqi conflict was brought about by it's invasion of Kuwait and were pushed out only after operation dessert storm and was brought about by a coalition of nations sanctioned by the U.N.The countries were Members of the Coalition included Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the United States of America The second gulf war or the invasion of Iraq was staged mostly only by the United States and the U.K. on presumptions of weapons of mass destruction. The bombers of the world trade center were not Iraqi but were composed of a terror cell of different nationalities linked to Al queda and were believed to have come from or supported by Taliban controlled Afganistan, so the start of the war on terror was really focused more on Al queda and the Taliban who are now pushed in the borders of Pakistan. So we are not really at war with them, in fact the world is helping Iraq and Afganistan stand on their own two feet and embrace democracy., It's the terrorist no matter what Nationality that sow terror.

Yeah, I think Americans should be careful since they experienced 911. But I see that authorities have been taking proper measures for that. Actually, now there are those threats everywhere on the world and we should be alert, but without panic.
