I think Ashley Young is one of the best players in the left wing in England. So his move from Aston Villa to a bigger club has actually taken longer than I expected. At Man U his pace really adds another asset in Man U fire power. I think pace is going to be the key for Man U this season and with Young on the left wing they have a player who can really rack the pace up!! Cheers! Ram

Left wing, that is where he marauds. He and Evra form a deadly pair on the left wing for the opponents. Yesterday Man U destroyed Bolton. This season they are already looking very deadly. It would be interesting to see whether they are that good or it is a case of they getting into form too early in the season. Cheers! Ram

i think that young is right winger... so MU still had superb right winger, Nani and Valencia.. and young can`t be replaced as long as Young is fit

he is better than valencia I guess, he can make a great moving, combination from good passing, dribbling and speed. His last goals against arsenal last time are great, from long distance, he can be the next c.ronaldo or at least giggs.

do you forget another superb, Nani....i don`t know how Sir Alex must divide his concentration and select who is the best every weeks and don`t make discrimination

I wasn't convinced when Young was playing for Aston Villa. But after seeing his performance in the Man Utd team, it has changed my opinion. His partnership with Rooney is one to behold and the national team has benefited from it. At the moment, it looks like Ferguson has got it right again.

Ashley young has always been a great player, just that he's playing for the wrong team at villa. Now that he's in Man united, he can unleash his full potential, just the way he plays for england. He has a certain level of understanding with his teamates at club and international level. That makes it easier for him to succeed in man united, making competition for places more fierce than before.

i disagree when you say that ashley young play in wrong club like aston villa?? aston villa is great team...yes villa is below level than MU, but it does`nt mean that villa is not good club..i think we must see how ashley young can contribute for MU in this season

Ash Young moved to collect trophies and nothing else. All this shows is the problem in English football. There will never be a Brian Clough or a Notts Forest again and we BSKYB to thank for this and there relentlessness to only focus on 4 teams rather than the whole league. Even when watching other teams the joke presenters manage some how to talk about those 4 teams. Must really hurt them that Man City spent billions and Spurs have put a good squad together some how.
