Michael is would be priest who has changed his mind and decided to leave priesthood because he said he doesn't have the faith. His teacher, a priest, too did not want him to just quit like that so he sent Michael to the Vatican to attend an exorcism course that might just change his mind. This is where he meets Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins) who uses unorthodox ways in exorcism.
The ending credits said that this is based on a true story and that both Father Michael Kovak and Father Lucas Trevant are continuing with their exorcism activities in the United States.
I personally was not satisfied with the story. It wasn't really shown how unorthodox Father Lucas's methods are, there wasn't even any unusual methods in it. Just that, Father Lucas's behavior is a bit weird. But not his methods. But the story was okay and somehow, it made me really bothered now, I don't want to go to sleep yet not until I get the movie off my mind.

I, on the other hand, love the movie because I love anything with Anthony Hopkins. He's the greatest. I don't care if the movie doesn't make sense. Most movies are mere entertainment and I don't usually take them seriously. If I want facts, I will watch a documentary.

I like Anthony Hopkins, too! I like him as Hannibal Lecter. Were you able to watch the Hannibal Lecter movies?

I've seen Silence of the Lambs, too! Yes, you are so right! Charismatic but creepy! I hope they make another movie of Hannibal Lecter.
I think I've seen Fracture but it did not make any impact on me. I might watch the movie again.

Oh yes. I've watched Silence of the Lambs a few times and Hopkins was awesome as Hannibal Lecter. He was so charismatic as Dr Hannibal Lecter but at the same time quite creepy too. Hopkins is the greatest actor for me. The older he gets the awesomer he is! You should see him in Fracture. That is another awesome movie.

i like Anthony Hopkins..good actor (except for being Thor;'s dad..not so much he can do with the role given)

I've yet to watch any Exorcism movies so far, back dating to "Exorcism of emily rose".. haha. I've always love such movies but i have no chance to watch them at all. I like to see how they do it, as it's so different. IT's a little scary according to friends who watched it. BUt as the movie u mentioned here, secret. I will add it to my watchlist too.. haha 
HOwever, what i dun like about the movie is that, there will be lots of screaming.. lol
