Why do people love HORROR movies..??

I think every like has a reason some like romantic movies as they love there partners....some like action because someday or the other they think they can do stunts like hero...hahaha..What a FOOL..!!!:D:D
And some like comedy movies like me....well that is not because they want to get admitted to mental asylum but because they want to laugh which I think everyone knows is good for health..hehe!!
But I don't understand why people like horror movies...why do they want to get scared by wasting so much time.....If people are so interested in getting scared then they can contact me I will send my picture and I am sure they gonna scream on seeing my pic...Ha Ha Ha :D :D :D

I like hottor films because I find them quite entertaining.
I enjoy a spooky atmosphere in a film, and I even enjoy the over the top gory ones, because, I find them funny. yes, funny. they usually have something quite tongue in cheek about them, that takes them into the realms of comedy. I am rarely scared by a horror film.

Many people like to watch horror movies because they think that it is fun. They also like the excitement and the thrill that comes with being scared silly. Watching an horror movies keeps a person on edge and wondering what will happen next. This can be either positive or negative.

LOL I don't know why people love horror movies so much. I personally don't. I like a good, suspenceful "thriller" type movie that keeps you guessing - but I don't like blood, guts, and gore. My sister and my cousin do though - they go see every Saw movie and every rated R movie that looks like it's scary. I think they like being freaked out. But I don't know. LOL. I'd much prefer romantic comedies to horror movies... I don't need to be getting any gory nightmares!

I like horror and suspense movies. Also, I used to watch gory movies. :) But I have stopped watching them for a few months now because it becomes a nightmare to me.

I have no idea either, maybe they want to get scared, or just want to get a good scream... I don't watch that much horror movies though, since I prefer action, adventure ones. 
I like it because it is not boring and the plots are usually interesting.

Lol this is funny. I love both horror and comedy movies. I like comedy because I mean it's comedy, it's funny. It's meant to make you laugh and anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE to laugh. I really don't know why i like horror movies so much but they are awesome! Maybe its because they are so frightening.

I do love comedy film, it's because it can relieve my stress, it's just feel nice to laugh while watching funny movies, well about the horror film, perhaps they want to watch that because they want to be frightened, some people can relate to that kind of movies and enjoy watching it, but personally I don't hehe I'm terrified watching those kinds of movie, I'm afraid of ghost:D

I like horror movies and I simply love their thrill of it. Horror movies display such vivid and unforgettable images that simply puts us on the edge of our seats. In a way, it makes feel intimidated and scared thinking, "will that ever happen to me?" and gets us pretty paranoid. I get paranoid when I'm alone in the house in the dark hallway. It's kinda funny when after a good horror movie, you get really edgy and terrified when something moves or some sound was made. It's fun watching with friends too so you can all scream together! =)

I guess, that in todays society people live in no fear. We live secured and the rush from being scared is no longer to be found in a normal everyday life. So horror movies gives us something we can't find in our lifes.

I dont know why I like horror movies so much. I guess it the rush of being scared however I dont get scared often. I know most are fake but fun to watch.

It depends on people.. That is the same question like Why do people like spicy food? Just get to shore, buy chilly and pour it in your mouth... Hello! :D
We have different tastes. Like like action movies, comedy movies. Someone like horror movies. Well I watch from time to time horror movie but I don't find it interesting. Usually I am laughing when watching it. I just do not find it scary.
Ow, and something else as you mentioned it.
If you like so much comedy movies, why do you want to laugh watching movie? Go to shop, buy a strip or newspaper with jokes and have fun. Damn. :D
