That's a lyric from a song but it was brought to mind last night while I was eating supper. I sit by my kitchen window and watched as a young man about age 12 walked down the street. At first I thought he was simulating jogging...but thrusting his arms in the air....but then suddenly he would stop and jut his butt up in the air....kinda like he was doing some funky dance! I bet if he knew I was watching he would be a bit embarassed. When no one is looking I sometimes do something like that myself. I have a towel tied to the handle on the kitchen drawer and sometimes I dance using the towel to hang on to like a partner! LOL...what is the strangest thing you do when no one is looking?

I also dance weird steps I make up, but I don't do it walking down the street, only at home..

I'd be embarrassed, too if I knew someone saw me jut my butt up in the air. And good thing the towel doesn't complain when you force it to dance with you? lol
I remember when I was alone at the office and I had Michael Jackson's songs in the background, I was so into the songs that I started imitating MJ's dance steps. ^^ I danced in front of the big glass frame and I was laughing at myself when I saw how I look doing MJ's steps. ^^ Of course, it wasn't that strange. But I'd be totally embarrassed if somebody saw me! @secretbear (19448)

Oh, I remember, whenever I have a background music playing here at the office and the song playing is a love song with high notes, I would imitate the singer's facial expression and hand gestures.

I love that song - by Blake Shelton! The weirdest thing I do when no one is looking is dancing. I don't dance anywhere, and I never have. But when a song is on at home I'll start moving to the beat. And I'd die if anyone outside of my family saw me do it.

I talk to myself. Sometimes I will carry on imaginary conversations.
You know how when you want to talk to someone about something you might go over the conversation in your head to practice what you might say, and anticipate their reaction and think of how you'll respond to their reactions?
Well I do that outloud when nobody is around. But I don't say their parts outloud, only my own.
Sometimes I just talk for the sake of talking.
Something I've always done, and it's a hard habit to break. Whenever I'm alone I just get talking. I think it might be because I was a lonely child who didn't have a lot of close friends.. sort of an imaginary friend complex I guess.

I also dance, but only when I'm by myself in a house and have music playing. I also make up my own steps. I've probably done other crazy stuff, but I can't remember it at the moment. I do say some mean things to the invisible ground squirrels, raccoons, and gophers when they've done a number on my garden, like picking several tomatoes and taking one bite out of each and throwing the rest away.

I am not sure, but I am sure there are things I have done, or do. I think there are always things you may think nothing of it when no one is around, but would be embarrased if you knew someone was watching you. But sometimes people get so into their music they are listening too, etc. that they start dancing etc. and think no one is watching, or hope no one is. But if he looked as if he was enjoying himself than that is OK.

I look in the mirror and count the wrinkles...lol Yesrs ago I use to dance with the door knob. This was during my teenage years. Thought I would be a good dancer if only I could practice. My husband doesn't like to dance so I grew a little stale. Sometimes I sing when nobody is around.

Whether people are looking or not, when I'm walking downtown, I sing along with the music on my iPhone. LOL What's great is that the songs are usually in a foreign language. I don't understand the language, but I sing along anyway. :)
I recently had a nice Croatian guy stop me and ask for directions (in Croatian!) because he thought I could understand the language, based on the song I was singing. I had to explain to him in English that I knew the song, but hadn't yet learned the language. LOL

We all do things that we would not want others to see when we are alone and that explains why there are doors! 
. I notice I need to keep a watch on the faces I make while talking which I saw in a photo of mine. I now stand in front of the mirror trying to look better.

I practice acting and looking like a highly successful, recognized, popular, wealthy business woman. Now I need the clothes, jewelry, expensive perfume and secretary. I also have to pretend I DON'T ride the bus! Oh ya, and a house keeper!

I also do some weird things while i am alone, but i never hesitate to do anything in front of others if i do like it.
I think it does not depend on whether anyone looking or not, do what your mind and heart tell you to do except it don't hurt someone.
Sometimes it would be awkward but i think we feel more relaxed when we do according to us without thinking about others' reaction.It may be reduced your inner talents to be embarrass in front of someone.
