That was a great TV series very, very long ago! It's tailor - not taylor! Tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor, rich man, poor man, beggerman, thief. It's actually from an old skipping game song that kids use to do many decades ago.

AWESOME series, though modern audiences would hate it because there's no explosions, car chases, martial arts or anything... and you have to actually (gasp!) THINK to enjoy it.

So did you use that song? It had variants for hop-scotch and a kind of knuckle hitting game too! Yes, it was difficult to follow the plot if you needed the bathroom urgently. It twisted so quickly!

yeah, thanks for correcting the mistake~ I didn't know it was a TV series because I saw the title in a movie website which is recommending a new film called TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY which is directed by Tomas Alfredson. Gary Oldman and Colin Firth will be starred in it. then I did some research and knew that there was a TV series produced by BBC before, right? I'm so into this kind of story thank you petersum~ have a nice day
