Italy is a lovely destination in Europe which is worth traveling to. The capital city is called Rome. Florence and Pisa are also worth visiting. Venice is a unique place everyone should go to see its canals. Italy's weather is best from May to September although the cities do attract visitors year round. I went to Sardinia in October one year and there was very stormy weather. Italy has an excellent train service linking its cities. Most of all I would like to visit the region around Naples and the islands off the coast like Capri. The currency used is the Euro. Italian is the language spoken.

My sister and her children are living there for another year or two. I have been wanting to visit Venice and Naples. I have heard about a place she visited with statues of individuals that were caught in a volcano in an old city. I wish i knew the name of it. This seems so interesting to me.

Italy is fabulous! I highly recommend it as a vacation destination! Try to visit the Amalfi Coast and wander the streets of Positano!

I went to Italy fow work one year ago, to Udine, in the northeast part of Italy, near Venice. When I was there I asked some citizens and they told me that the south of Italy is better to visit, because it have more beautiful cities, like Rome, Milan and Naples for example. But the north part have its good parts too, like you can easily go to skiing in the snow, because it have some big mountains there. And Venice is in the northeast part of Italy too.

I'am italian. I can swear that there are places in Italy that can make you heart beat. I live in Milan and every time I go downtown I remain amazed by how beautiful the Duomo of my town. But there are hundreds of other beautiful places. For example, Liguria is wonderful. You absolutely have to visit Florence, Venice and Amalfi. Rome is too touristy, and overrated, but it is still a must and a magical city. I hope you have the opportunity to travel to Italy. All tourists I met in my life have been fascinated by our country.I'm sure you'll love my country! ^^

Yes, Italy is a good place to travel as it is full of beautiful and historical sites just like the Roman Coliseum, The Pantheon, The Grand Canal where lovers love to go boating. You can also visit Rome if you're a Catholic.
