MMK’s Episode Last Saturday

I got interested in the story of last Saturday’s episode of MMK. It is about a mother-in-law’s cruel treatment to her daughter-in-law.
I was amazed at how the daughter-in-law could live with a mother-in-law like that. Imagine, your mother-in-law, treating you so good when her son is not at home, but the moment he comes home she appears to be a doting mother-in-law to the wife!
But I salute the daughter-in-law for loving her despite of the cruelty. In the end, the mother-in-law, has no one but her to take care of her at the hospital so the daughter-in-law has to go there, without his husband who still refuse to see her mother.
If I were in her shoes, I don’t know if I would tolerate being treated like that. Had it been, I would at the very start , would have left the house!

I never got to finish the episode last Saturday. What happened? Why was Janus' character got mad at her mom?
I think it is the story for all the daughter in laws as well as for their mother in laws and husbands who are sometimes blind (no offense).
It is a good story and I hope everyone will learn from it.

yes, you can watch it online thru what albert's given link.
It's still a happy ending and has a nice moral lesson to all mothers and daughters-in-law.

i heard about the episode but did not have the full view of the story.
i really feel bad about women getting bad treatments from their mother in laws.
but it's good to know that in the end, they finally made things right.
i am glad to tell you that i did not had mistreatment with my mother in law and so as my wife did not had with my mom. our mothers loved us both and they were really good in-laws to us. but unfortunately, both of them are already gone.

I guess some like you and me are just lucky to have good mother-in-laws.
At least you and your wife get to experience having good mothers-in-law not monsters-in-law.
It was a nice episode indeed.

i agree withyou, i mean being tolerated so badly, i think most of us won't even stand an hour of that cruelty. but you know, most chinese women are actually martyrs too, i have known a couple of ladies who got to take care of their mother in laws in china in their dying age, and it is them that takes care of the elders and not the real daughters because they should be taking care of their in laws themselves. its just that weird.

Oh is that so my friend? I guess the daughters are the ones taking care of their mother-in-laws too. But what about those single daughters, can't they take care of their dying mother ?
I think, when your cruel mother-in-law is dying, you have to take care of her , so as to make sure that she really will die already. That's the price for her being cruel to the daughter-in-law. Joke, joke ,joke

Oh my dear. You might as well start praying now, that your future mother-in-law is not like that.
Me, if i were the daughter-in-law, once my husband doesn't believe me when i tell her about his mother, i would leave him.

Yes, you can start praying now, in order to be sure that you won't have a monster mother-in-law.

Aww.. I missed that episode. Wanted to watch it, but, I was out at the mall. Turns out to be pretty interesting. If I were the daughter-in-law, I would have left immediately!

Correct! That's what i thought to myself too.
But then, when she was caught in the act beating the daughter-in-law, they left her and the son don't even like to visit her in the hospital , had it not been for the prodding of his wife.
Nice episode, it has its lesson to . . .mother-in-laws.

Myfave quote from that episode : How can you believed she have a heart attack , she is heartless.
Her monster in law dislikes her because she is a playgirl before she became her son's girlfriend and she is "responsible" for killing her plants. you can see I really did watch that episode. MMK should keep using less popular actors , cos its refreshing .

Oh yes Albert, i like that line too and i really cheered for the daughter-in-law when she said that.
And you are correct, she was a monster-in-law.
If you are already married, would you not investigate if your wife tells you that your mother treats her so?

I saw that very episode too! I can't help but feel very fortunate that my mother-in-law is far from the character in that MMK episode. As I was watching it, I was telling both my husband and my mother-in-law (who lives with us) that I am a very lucky person. My own mother is not like that either. Just like you, I too don't see myself staying for long in that household, had I had a woman like that for a mother-in-law.

Just like you, i feel lucky too, that i have a kind mother-in-law. Although before, when i was just newly married to her son, we had a quarrel, after that we are already okay.
In fact, we live with my parents-in-law now and we get along fine.
