I never heard about this site before, did you try triond or buckisa? And also i know we can get some assignments from odesk etc. Freelancing sites are good, but please check the credibility before you invest time. There are many sites which accepts international writers

oh no now that really sucks. I love textbroker. I wish i knew another site like textbroker but I havent found one yet. But I will be sure to look you up when i do find another.

Don't worry, you aren't missing out on much. Textbroker just keeps going more and more downhill each day.
They expect extremely professional technical writers and are only interested in paying them $2-$5. In most other places, technical writing can go for $50+ an article, easily.
In a case of you getting enough "stars" you can feasibly make an OK amount of income, but you definitely can't pull anywhere near a full-time income through that website.

Sounds interesting.
some time ago I came across a similar site and did not want other members except the U.S..
