A very heartbreaking news today

Around 2:15 pm today, us here in the office learned that somebody took her own life by jumping from her condo unit. We did not know the person, but the building where it happened is only like three buildings away from us. And if we try to look over our window, we can see that there are many bystanders, police cars and ambulance in that area. It was heartbreaking because we were just having fun here in the office, joking at one another, when we heard the news from an office mate who just came in from his errands. When we think life is being unfair to us, we do not realize that there are others out there who have much more burdens in their shoulders. To this person, even if I don't know you, our prayers are with you.

Yes always included those in prayers. No wars, no calamities. But the world is not perfect. We just have to believe that after every storm, there is always a rainbow. trust God and stay positive and we will live a lot better.

She must have come to the breaking point. Sad to hear that. When I feel that life's being unfair to me, I would try to stay positive. Or I would try to think of people in under-developing countries.

That is very sad to hear. They must feel like they have not other options and that is sad. Everyone needs the support of friends and family.

I am not even sure if her family is with her in this country. She is a foreign student, usually they are all alone here.

Pity that that person didn't had anyone to help him/her out with his/her burdens. It is not an easy or coward decision to end your own life :-(

Yes. The person is actually a foreigner, who was very young. They said that the person just graduated from a nearby university.

It's really heart touching news indeed! I really feel sorry for that poor girl and pray that her soul rest in peace. It's true that people often blame god for doing unfair to them but we don't care to see that there are thousands people who are having a very hard time to even live their life happily. So, live your life and if you want happiness you have to earn it yourself.
