Binocular Storage

Birdwatchers, nature lovers: how do you store your binoculars? I own a fullsize pair, several very small pairs, and even a scope from a gun that my dad gave me. (He gave me the scope, not the gun). Right now I have them in a basket with a couple old film cameras. The basket I have them in is just not doing it for me. I'd also like to be able to store my bird/nature/animal books either with them or nearby. None of them have their own storage bag, should I get some? Any help would be appreciated.

The first binoculars I had were given to Me by my Grandfather..they were in a hard leather case, with the lens covers all there too,and that was how they stayed..I passed them on to My Sister's Family. The New ones I bought to replace them came supplied with a soft nylon shoulder strap bag..they stay in the bag until I use them. If you can't get a purpose made binocular bag or case, maybe a small backpack or camera bag might be good..happy spotting!

Yeah, I could probably get some kind of bag for them, either specialty camera bag or just repurpose a backpack or camera bag
