It was announced recently that the Ms. Angola is the Ms. Universe 2011 which indeed I am also glad that her judge was our fellowman Lea Salonga.
I wasn't able to watch the live stream as I am tuning in abs cbn channel 2 of our local channel. I am hoping that our fellowman Shamcey Supsup will bring home the crown but being in the 3rd spot is already one of the biggest thing that she achieved.

Yes, it should have been Shamsey because she did very well in the question and answer portion. Her question is the toughest but her answer is the smartest and I really could not help but feel proud of her. Too bad, the judges voted in favor of the crowd favorite and too bad also that Leah Salonga's question to Ms. Angola is very easy and common. Ms. Angola is black beauty and I think this is the first time Angola wins a Ms. Universe crown. I am not sure though. At any rate, the pageant is over and we should just be happy that at least Shmasey is in the top 5. Hurray!

Yes it is not that easy to make it to the top 5 and we should really be thankful that we had a very smart candidate like Shamcey who was able to convince the judges that she deserves to be included in the top 5. I hope our next candidate to the Ms.Universe will be just as smart.

Yes it is Angola's first time to grabbed the crown according to the history

Our country would be having 3rd time to grab the title. But I am glad that our representatives are always making it to the top 5. That is not easy if you are competing with 89 or more candidates from another country.

I think Ms. Philippines deserves more than just the third place. She should have been the winner. Her answer is the smartest answer of all I would say. Ms. Angola's answer in the Q & A is a very common answer and was actually been given my many other contestants who are asked that same question in other pageants. Incidentally, the question was actually given by our very own Leah Salonga. I also noticed the questions given by the judges are generally very easy questions unlike in the previous Ms. Universe pageants.
Oh well, Shamcey proved herself very worthy of the crown even if she did not make it. We Filipinos should really be proud of her. To Ms.Angola, I would also like to congratulate her for being lucky enough to be chosen.

To think that Angola wasn't able to finish her answer and as I am re reading her answer I am not that satisfied because for me it was like it is being far away from the question of Lea.
Honestly I am not that satisfied that she is in the 3rd place, I would accept if she is in the 1st place.

Yes, Ms.Angola talks about her inner beauty when Leah was asking about physical beauty. So I don't think the answer is not really that smart. Well maybe the judges were just carried away by the crowd who were loudly rooting for Ms. Angola. She was the crowd favorite and maybe the judges wouldn't want to spoil their night.
But honestly I believe Shamcey should have been placed even 1st runner up if only for her very smart answer.

It could have been Ms. Ukraine to bring home the crown because as I review again the answer I am actually satisfied with it.

congratulations to all the winners.
congratulations to our own bet shamcey.
she is still our ms. universe and even though she didn't make it to the top position, we are still very proud of what she had brought for our country.

The question that given to her was nosebleed that is why I am proud that she was able to answer it without thinking much and it was deep inside her heart with sincerity. I am hoping that she will remain her strong conviction.

Filipino people are always competitive when it comes to talent. I am glad that we are always making it in top 5 just like Miriam Quiambao, Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup. It is very hard to compete with the other delegates from around the world.

While we are working here at our office, our radio is tuned in to the DJ informing us about the pageant happening.
I feel disappointed that Chamcey didn't make it, but was happy nonetheless that she made it to the top 5.
I am just going to watch it tonight on TV , since it will have its replay by then.
Congratulations to Ms. Angola! Black is beautiful!
