Our Ms. Philippines candidate won 3rd runner up!

We did expect her (Ms. Shamcey Supsup) to win the crown but then again, judging is not based on fan ranking and the like. The judges have their own reasons why Ms. Angola was chosen, who is in fact a gorgeously tall lady with a very beautiful face.
But I admire Ms. Supsup for being so elegant and witty during the Q & A portion of the pageant.

oh really is she really very beautiful? i guess its good already that we got to the 3rd place!! =) its not really surprising that much, but i was actually expecting her to have at least made it to the top, really! =) im happy that she did not fail us in Brazil. hehe

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. to some she may not even appear to be 'very beautiful', some may even see her as pretty not beautiful. personally, i assess the features as not 'very beautiful' but her persona is beautiful. in totality, she appears confident and elegant and smart. i believe it is what made her beautiful for many.
in the fan ranking, she ranked no.1 and in the evening gown, she ranked no.2. not bad at all. 
whatever position she had in the top 5, i am happy. it is truly an honor to be in the top 5.

That's good news. Congratulations for that. Is this a Regional contest or an International contest ? Where did the contest take place, and when was it ? This is, in any case, an honor for the Philippines !

this is great! third runner up is an improvement of last year's fourth runner up by venus. congratulations to shamcey. she again makes us proud. she will be welcomed with great fanfare here.

I was cheering all the time Ms.Philippines name is called. Of course she is our representative and being a Filipino I am so excited to see how she would fare in the Ms. Universe Beauty Pageant. I am proud of this woman. She proves herself to be not just beautiful body and face but she is very smart as well. I so love her answer in the Q & A question. To me, that is the best answer one could ever give in that kind of question. This reflects how godly this woman is and this made her a woman not just of physical but of inner beauty as well.This also proves that Filipino women do have the brains as well. Venus Raj was disappointing in Q & A portion and even Miriam Quiambao was during their respective moment, but Shamcey is surely brainy and we Filipinas should be proud of that. Well Ms. Angola has charming face and she is the crowd favorite and she won. Nevertheless in the heart of the Filipino people, Shamcey is the winner of them all!
