Djokovic [Serb] won U.S Open defeating Nadal 6-2, 6-4,6-7, 6-1. Nadal was suffering by injury and could not play at the best. Also in Wimbledon they played the final and Djokovic was the winner.Due to high temperature all players were tired and could not play their best in this year U S Open.As Federer is losing his form slightly fight for 1st position in tennis is going to be Nadal vs Djokovic.

Djokovic has had a super 2011 so far. He has won the Australian, Wimbledon and now the US Open. What's even better is the tennis that he has played at times has been exceptional. Coming back from two sets down to beat Federer was special in the US Open semis. His only blip was the French Open where he lost to Federer in the semis. Let's see if he can continue this run in the next season as well. Cheers! Ram

Sorry, but I heard nothing about Nadal having an injury. Djokovic was the one having back problems in the 3rd and 4th sets. Nadal did not appear to play like he was injured, Djokovic just outplayed him. Djokovic hit some truly great returns and shots and won fair and square. Also, it was not that hot, especially compared to many of the Australian Open years or compared to when I used to play when I was in graduate school in Austin, Texas in temperatures(degrees F) and humidity in the high nineties. For this year's U.S. Open the wind was a bigger problem in many matches than the heat including the men's final.
