To EVERYONE who says, "We will never forget". Why state the obvious? Of course we will never forget. Society has become so lazy. We now state the obvious and think it is deep philosophy. My thoughts are with all the victime of that senseless acts of cowardice ten years ago. What do you think? Do we really need to keep repeating this phrase?

Your title is wrong... No "we will never forget"... its should be " we should not forget" ... thinking this way, we can enforce more energies and can fight against those stupid terrorists. Let be strong and hold each other hands and a promise..... " we are revolutionaries and ready to fight against terrorism" . I have promised and you?

Ihave no problem uniting against terrorism, but, do we continually have to keep stating something so obvious.

I don't think it's intended as a deep philosophy. The phrase is repeated to ensure the outcome, much like King's "I have a dream" speech, which repeated the same phrase so it'd stick. It's important to hammer things into people's heads so that they DON'T forget. To be honest, it's frightening how easy it is to forget as time marches on. How many people of your/my/our age know more than the basics about World War 2? World War 1? We always said we'd never forget those but they're just vague historical occurrences after less than 100 years.

You are quite correct how easy it is to forget. Have a great day.

yes we do...we as a people tend to be fickle and change with what is popular sometimes. And we get very involved with our own lives and forget the bigger picture or become complacent. It is good to be reminded from time to time of what is important.

yes, because new generations need to know and understand.
