Can't make money with Elance

Big headache....
I already join with Elance about a week and I can't bid any job .... ouch.
Why?
Main reason why I can't bid any jobs is because I fail to verified my phone number to Elance. I don't know why ..... my code country is correct and my code area is correct and obviously my phone number also correct. But somehow when I try to connect with the site always fail .... Maybe it's my faith can't join with them ... hiks

I think I had similar trouble way back when - I thought they'd fixed that kind of stuff. Pop a note to their support people: the techies are very good even if their marketing/PR department totally sucks.

The site works fine and is very reliable. The techies are very good and their back-office staff seem fine. It's just their marketing people who suck - I've asked two or three times to be put in touch with someone who can address various accusations people raised on my blog but no one ever contacts me.
As a job site, I like it a lot. I just don't appreciate being ignored, even if I'm a nobody blogger.

No, it's has nothing to do with your religion. Why don't you send them a ticket and ask why? There are employers who need Arabs, for instance, to do translation. And Arabs are Muslims!

dear olleenz, I think this misunderstanding happen because you typed "faith" instead of "fate" thats why the other thought you are talking about religion, see the last line of ur discussion where you mentioned maybe its my faith i cannot join them. My English is not good but if im not mistaken faith is related to belief or religion while fate is related to destiny.

so, it like guru.com? well, i still knowledge still minim to join that site.
Basically Elance is freelance site and pretty legit one. Mostly we must bid for a job/work and get approved before earn some money. It's better to check them by yourself. You need address for it?
