do sometimes think of yourself as your own enemy?

I was browsing through a list of quotes from my android phone; the quote goes like this: If you do not conquer self, you will be conquered by self. By Napoleon Hill So do you think that sometimes, our greatest enemy is ourselves; so we have to push our ownself to the limit, conquer our fears, conquer whatever we need to do that is keeping ourselves back.

I think I fall under that category of people fighting to conquer a certain trait within them. I'm not that confident in starting something, and I have been having problems getting that 'drive' and be myself in life. I have known this is my greatest weakness, I have a long way to go but I will win this battle.

Hi chiyosan! Yes, I believe sometimes myself is my own enemy. Especially when I procrastinate? I have to fight my own laziness so I can be productive and do what I have to do instead of doing nothing all day. In that simple situation, myself is my enemy. Actually, I think, in whatever you need to do but your own self is stopping you from doing it, then it's a battle between yourselves.
