Yesterday my boss sent an email to me said he wantted to go through the samples of the taps and shower mixers in our showroom. Then this morning I asked him what time was available for him. He just told me read his email of last week, seriously. This sounded like a thunder to me, big ? appeared in my head. So I said again that he just sent the email about this thing yesterday afternoon. He wasn't angry but still replied, read my email of last Friday. I had to walk back to my desk and checked the huge emails he sent to me last Friday. Then I found there was one email without any title and just had one sentence, which was "come to see me". Of course I doubted it but finally proved that email was correct, then I was confused. I don't understand why didn't he just tell me about that? Is this a joke? Even I have worked for him for 4 years I still don't understand this Australian people.

You definitely has a strange Aussie boss for yourself, he just want you to read his email instead of telling you at point blank during the encounter. May be he is trying to mess with your head, making you confuse about his intention, turning a simple solution into a complex one.
