If you think about your heart, it is working every single second of your life which means that it is bound to feel a lot more strain than some of the muscles that you don't use all of the time each and every day. In addition to this, there are many things that we do every day which put additional strain on our heart. If we eat foods with a lot of fat in, this can fill our arteries with the fat which means that the heart has to put a lot of extra work into pumping the blood to ensure that it gets around the body at the same rate that it needs to.
