I (almost) forgot to wear a bra!

I was about to go to school this afternoon and I was already out of the house and have walked a few meters when I noticed our dog Max was following me. I had to go back to the house to make sure he does not follow me anymore. I went out again and walked a few meters away from our house when I felt that my clothes were a little too light and airy. Then I realized that I have not put on a bra! I immediately went back to our house (of course without being obvious of my situation) and put on my bra which I have taken off earlier because it was too hot that time. Good thing I was wearing a deep yellow shirt and not white. I did not notice in front of the mirror that I wasn't wearing a bra inside my shirt and it was really hard to notice anything because I have small breasts. lol I guess Max was trying to warn me about it. lol Has this ever happened to anyone?

The only time I take mine off is at night so no fear of leaving it off...But I would feel really uncomfortable if I did...and I would go back home and put one on too! Good for Max!

I don't wear a bra, too when I'm sleeping. It's really uncomfortable to wear one while you're lying in bed.

Although I'm not really comfortable on such a personal topic, I haven't willingly worn a bra for a few years now unless I plan to be visible to others for very long. If I have a bunch of errands to do, I wear one. If I'm only going to run into the post office for a few seconds to drop packages on the counter, I don't, unless I have to go to the bank or the library afterward. They are uncomfortable and hot when the weather is hot. I work at home and rarely leave home when I don't have to.

Hi, secretbear. It is a good thing that your dog distracted you so that you could go back to your house and possibly notice that you haven't been wearing a bra. This has never happened to me before. If I did have to, I would probably react in the same way that you have too. I would need to wear a bra because without one, someone may notice. I wear an 38C in bra and cup size, so I can't do without one. I would feel as if people could see right through my shirt when I don't have a bra on.

Me, too! If I know that I'm not wearing a bra, I would still feel like people would notice even if they don't really notice.

That is funny, your dog Max must be a smart dog. I have a dog named Max too and he's pretty smart. This hasn't happened to me, but I'm always afraid I'm going to do something like that. Sometimes if I'm going to be home all day, I won't put a bra on, especially if its a hot day, they're so uncomfortable. Well one day my husband came home and he wanted me to ride with him to see somebody, I got out to the truck and realized I didn't have a bra on, he was like oh nobody will notice, and I was thinking huh uh, but I'll know, I had to go back in the house..haha.

LUCKY YOU! For me, a bra is a staple (as it is for most big boobed girls) and I could never walk out of the house without one on... Consider yourself lucky that you can even forget about it!

It happened to me though too, but it's only when I was rushing to go and buy sanitary napkins and I didn't care if they noticed that I wasn't wearing bra at all. Haha.! It was an emergency alright?! LOL. ;D I had fun here and thanks dear!

At first I thought it was your wife "speaking".

I just really thought that way, because of your opening line. I even thought, "maybe Neil allows her wife to use his account in myLot".

Hi blue! I don't wear a bra at home so that's why I removed it and just forgot to put it back on when I went outside in a hurry.

Oh gosh you must have felt so comfy not to have remembered. I have had moments when I am at home and decide to quickly get up and run and errand and it dawns on my oops better get a bra on. I don't have a Max here to remind me, so for Max for being so kind.

LOL! This one really made me laugh! You never fail to amuse me with your discussion topics XD If this is indeed the case, you have one heck of a smart dog! This incident never happened to me though since I never leave the house without bra on. Whether it's hot or not, I'll always wear one otherwise it'll be too obvious if I don't wear one XD At least it's the bra that you forgot. Can you imagine if you're wearing a short skirt and you forgot to put on undies? XD

No! I can't imagine. I think it's impossible for me to forget to wear panties because that's a routine after taking a bath. When I'm at home, I don't take it off even if its hot! Unlike with the bra. It's different.

Out of all things, you forgot to wear your bra? It's something so basic that all women need to wear, especially when they go out! How embarrassing would it be if someone caught you without your bra. I went to school once without my bra but you can't notice it because of my uniform and blazer. But my friend tapped me on the should to say something and then she realized I wasn't wearing a bra because she felt no bra strap. I was so embarrassed when she told me.

Well, that has never happened to me! I just forgot to put my bra back on that day. I thought I was wearing it all along because I knew I had to go out later in that afternoon. I forgot that I removed it so I forgot to put it back on. I had a co-worker back in my first work and she completely forgot to wear a bra when she went for work. We only realized it because she was so obvious about it. She eventually told us why she was not so comfortable.

This discussion made my day. I guess that this scenario usually happens for people on the go. I have the luxury of not wearing a bra because I'm a man but sometimes I forget my dentures. LOL! No, I don't have dentures. I usually forget my mobile phone and sometimes I think I've lost it. Good thing I've left it in our house.

When you said dentures I instantly imagined you to be an old man with wrinkly skin.

I hope it's not too late to reply to your post but I'll reply anyway to defend my honor. LOL. I'm not a grumpy old man, I'm in mid twenties and I don't really have dentures. (Playing a little defensive). I hope we meet someday, you without a bra and me without my dentures. Haha.

We lived in Berkeley, California when the women's liberation movement hit there and my late husband, then a student, burned mine while I was at work one day, all but the one I was wearing. So when I got home my first act was always to lay out fresh clothes for work the next day. This was a Thursday night. Well, of course I panicked. I told him I had to go out shopping and he said "No, you don't" and started laughing. I did NOT think it was funny. He said the other students had made a big fire and needed more bras to throw in it as they were liberating the women from the burden of wearing restrictive clothing. I said it was supposed to be the woman's choice how she wanted to be liberated and not his right to do that, but it was done. So he said just try it one day and if you still think you need a bra then he would go buy me new ones on Saturday. It was against my better judgment, but I did go to work without wearing one (I wore a camisole instead) and in truth it was a lot more comfortable and nobody noticed, or at least they didn't act like they noticed, so I never bought or wore another one. That was about 50 years ago.
