I KNOW I KNOW... its a chick flick. i tormented myself sitting thru this entire film..but hey..to my surprise all the singing and dancing..fits so well.. perfectly.. really entertaining..especially if u know about ABBA;s song.. the acting is good ..with lotsa good actors..and Amanda Seyfriend so sweet in here.. the screenplay is brilliant..the timing is perfect..especially during the "Voulez Vouz" night party scene. very uplifting and exciting.well cinematographed. its just watchign a stage play in celluloid.. 9/10 dont force yourself to see this..hell..took me 2 years to actually sit thru this.. but fun time was had..all by myself. no wonder it did so well in the box office..

Hi rafi! I have watched this film a long time ago. I don't remember much of it now. But I remember there were lots of singing and dancing. I don't really watch much musical movies unless there are dancing that interests me like hip hop. I have watched Jessica Alba's Honey before and I loved the dancing parts there. I'm a frustrated dancer so I like watching dance moves.

I agree! Jessica Alba was not very good in dancing. I have watched the first Step Up movie and it was really great but I have not watched its other movies. I have not watched You Got Served as well. Somehow, it did not interest me to watch these movies because I do not like the leading actor and actresses, rather, I do not know them. But with your recommendations, who knows, I might download them and watch them.

I better write this - NO OFFENSE, as I didn't write that the first time and everything got erased as it didn't get through, haha!~Even the system got mad at me, haha!~ IMHO, I would complement your missing score of 1 - 1/10 is what I'll give!~ All I would say is that not everyone is cut out for a musical - Pierce Brosnan totally pierced our ears with his low key voice - try figure that out & Meryl? I think that devil should keep wearing Prada, singing is totally a NO NO!~

This happened to be on the TV a few months ago and I was not watching it but rather listening to it and I enjoyed it. Who does not like ABBA ? Only thing I will say is that Pierce "007" can not sing! I can picture you now rafiholmes bopping along to Dancing Queen

hahahah just to let u know..i boogied down to "Voulez vouz" i replay that part several times..for pleasure ..lolz.. Yeah.. Brosnan cant sing..but its logical that way..it made the movie have a sense of realism to it..day to day voices..instead of those studio fully tuned and mastered sounds.
