Are You A Ginger Seal Too?

Just read this article online and could not help being reminded about the tale of the ugly duckling.
I am sure we will feel out of place or the odd one out at some point of our lives. So like this seal, I hope that we will not loose sight or rather the will to live because if both the duckling and this seal could, I do not see why we couldn't.

just finished doing a paper about discrimination. the pup is discriminated!
kidding aside, i feel sad for him, especially looking at his eyes. who would've known he's almost blind with those beautiful pair of eyes?
i was not exempted feeling like an odd one out at some point. i survived.

bingskee,
My exact sentiments.
We sure have our ginger seal's moments, don't we? I just hope that he could be relocated to the US which will be more ideal for his survival. Considering that he is just a pup just sends shudders on how the odds are stacked here.

Aww, that was so heart breaking! :( I am totally with you! Sometimes, it takes a lot to find our place in the world, but I think, everyone has their own story, they just have to follow the signs. I recommend you "The alchemist" by Paulo Coelho, is a beautiful story that talks about finding your place in the world.

Timeout,
I am hoping that he will be relocated to the US where there are red haired seals, I cannot help feeling how tough it is for him to join the general population where blending within his family could be just as daunting.
Also, I hope some members will find some footing or moral from this article where life sometimes can lead us into odd situations.
P.S.
Thank you for the recommendation, I will look it up when I have the time tomorrow.

This is such a heart warming story. I hope the little seal enjoys his life.

cynthiann,
You're welcome and I hope all's fine with your family and yourself.
I cannot help feeling like Ginger Seal sometimes, especially when I am being assigned to a new client where everything just starts from scratch. I am just like that little guy trying to get into the crowd (like the last photo below).
But, I suppose that's part of life where we will meet our challenges and/or tough times.
P.S.
I hope that he could be relocated to the US where there are red haired seals there.
