Gary Johnson in any debates. He is the most qualified when it comes to dealing with a state that was in the hole when he got it and he turned it around. Vetoing some 750 Bills that would of increased spending. It is because they don't want to show that there are two different Libertarians running. Ron Paul is more of a Social Moralist than Gary Johnson who thinks that the government should stay out of peoples way when it comes to things like abortion and Gay Marriage. He also has left his state after two terms with a surplus.
Yet he isn't in debates because he isn't doing well in the polls. But they put people who aren't even running against him and he didn't do well. Also they included bachman when she wasn't running yet. Gary Johnson should be included in the debates because he is running it should be that simple Rick Sactorum is in these debates and how many people support him?

That's a good question. There are 4 other republican candidates that aren't in the debates, I think, and Gary Johnson is among them. I thought it might be because the republican's heads would explode if they had two libertarian candidates among them. I'd love to see him up there, mostly because I'd like a visual and auditory juxtaposition of Paul and Johnson. I'm torn this election between Paul and Johnson, and hearing them hash it out might give me a better idea of which of the two of them I'd rather vote for.
Chances are, I'll probably vote for Paul - but I agree Gary Johnson (and the rest of the republicans running), should be getting some debate time. There were 12 candidates in the debate last time - I don't think it would kill us to have the same number again this year.

I have just recently like as in a few hours ago have gone from the Ron Paul camp to the Gary Johnson camp because of the social policy differences. The big one is Gary Johnson like me is against late term abortions after the fetus becomes able to live on its own with our technology. I agree with him more than Ron Paul. So I am with Gary Johnson's camp because of him being closer to my beliefs and I am all for voting for who you agree with more. I would say check out this video this is from New Hampshire the one that he wasn't allowed at so see how he responds. I am listening to it while I am responding. It is a video so you can watch him.

Actually, I agree more with Gary Johnson on social policies, though I don't remember if he felt abortion was a state's right issue or not. We agree on when abortion should be acceptable and when it shouldn't - though I think I go a bit further than him on the value of a fetus. I do think it's the state's right to decide whether or not they allow it, though.
At any rate - if I don't vote for him this time around I will if he runs again next time. Gary Johnson's biggest problem is that he doesn't fit with most of the republican party. He's too small government for them. That's probably why I like him.

Gary Johnson isn't doing well in the polls because he isn't IN the polls anymore. The last CNN poll that he was in had him tied with Herman Cain and ahead of both Hunstman and Santorum, both of whom have been in every debate.
I really don't see Ron Paul as a social moralist. He has said that the government should stay out of marriage entirely, but if it's dealt with that it should be at the state level. On abortion I agree with him. To me it's no more about "social moralism" than opposing murder. It's really just a matter of when you believe life begins and whether you think it's ok to end a life if having a child is inconvenient for the mother (the

I think that the reasons you have listed are part of it, but it also has a lot to do with our bias media in this country. They tend to pick one or two candidates and play them up to the extent of ignoring most of the others. Perry and Romney are perfect examples of this. By doing so they (the media) helps their pet candidates to rise to the top of the polls and the others fall and suffer for it. It is not fair, but it does seem to be the way of modern day politics.
