I am a dog person ever since I was little Ive always had dogs. At a young age ive learned that having a dog means they are your responsibility feeding them grooming them giving them a good home and the most important part loving them. Ive had dogs that needed potty training dogs that tear off the sofa and the ones that just sits there somewhere only moves for food and walking for pee and poop. But I love all of my dogs so much that when my oldest dog had twisted her stomach I had to muster all of my strength to have to put her out she has been with me for over ten years and then her body failed her. But to avoid her being in agony I had to decide but through all of that Im still happy because shes in a better place now and I am still with most of her pups that already have there own pups so it's alright, So dogs, can't live without em...

I have got two miniature poodle dogs and got Secret in 2004 plus Magic in 2006. They need to be groomed and I have a groomer visit every 6 to 10 weeks. In winter I let their hair grow a bit and during a hot summer I have it cut short. I adore my dogs and wouldn't be right without dogs. My family had cats when I was a child and I adored them. Although I did want a dog as well I didn't get one until I was 32 years old.

I love dogs as well and dont know what i would do without mine. He might be stubborn at times but still is my baby to me. He is a very good dog and his favorite person is his daddy and he really loves him alot and my dog likes to play and go outside and see everyone walking or riding bikes or whom ever might be outside. Hes very into everyone and likes everyone and is just a very happy dog. I do understand where you are coming from for having to let your dog down. Just about 3 or 4 years ago i had to do this with a dog i had for 17 years and its so hard to do because that dog is a part of you and your entire family and means so much to you and she was really like a little baby to me and i just loved her dearly. Its one of the hardest things i life to do but at the end you know they are in a better place.

Hello Deodavid and welcome to myLot! I'm sorry you had to take that difficult decision for your old pal. I'm sure you did everything to save her but, unfortunately, God decided our dogs must pass away before us. You are lucky to have her pups and her grand-pups with you, the difficult moment will be easier to be overcome. How many dogs do you have now?
