You need to ask why and who you are writing your book for. Once you prepare your mind for writing, you start writing. If it isn't right that's okay, because you can go back and "fine tune." You don't have to lock yourself in a closet to write. Just start by writing out some of your thoughts. Carry a notebook with you and when a thought comes, write it down.

I think you should start by the plot, where is it gonna go, what is the important thing about the story? So that could lead you. And then to have an idea for begining, middle and ending. I write about scifi, I have this story that I want to publish, it's not finished.

I think that the best thing that you can do when you're trying to start writing a book is to have a good plan. You should write down everything that you know about the characters and their stories, and write a short summary of what you wish to inclue in each of your chapters. Once you have done this, you should be able to start writing it properly and be able to write it in enough detail that you need in order to complete your story. You should also be aware that you will need to read through your book and edit it a large number of times before it will be ready for publishing.

Carrying a writing tablet just about everywhere you go is a great way to prepare. You can jot down thoughts that come to mind or sudden bits of inspiration that you may find. I usually find my inspiration in music and from watching every day people in everyday situations... Going to the diner, markets, etc. I write about things that interest me deeply or things that I might motivate others to think more deeply into things.

Hi! I am not a good writer, i only write technical reports but i think writing a book for others to read is more difficult. My daughter does, but she has that talent i don't have. Anyway, if i would write a book, i would like to share my daily experiences in life. I would like to tell stories about my daily experiences in going to and from work, my observations on the people around me, and all about my encounters everyday. This i think is more interesting because many people can relate.

First, you need to know the topic or theme of your book. Have the reasons you want to tell the world and issues you think can bring change in the society. Then do your research and note down important things to add in your writing. Come out with the setting and consider the target group (audience) for your book... very important because this group will determine the selling of your book. What remains here is to take your time and write an interesting book, feel free to let people read your material and clean up any faults before you consider publishing.
