The last ODI between India and England ended with England completely whitewashed India ...........But I am here to talk about Rahul Dravid one of the greatest cricketers India has ever seen ...........I wished he scored a hundred but that was not to be though he played brilliantly and ended in a high note ..........I wanna ask you guys who do you think will be able to take his place after he retires from all the formats of the game????????

Rahul dravid is indeed my favorite player and i think he is one of the best test player who give a definite touch to how test is got to play in INDIA. He is the master for the many sucess which INDIA achieve in the test. Let's tlk of the ODI it was 1999 world cup when he rise with "Dada" and came in to action and show that he can score faster. I also remember his slow and steady starts and then big bangs to make victory possible. Many time he rescue INDIA from deep trouble and bring impossible chase possible. many occasion he was finisher of the game and what was his specialty. He scored 10000+ runs and in lesser time nd in less match and t no 3 postion his fav and most valuable one. He was real wall for INDIA who defend every thing. I still remeber his 25 ball fifty what a inning was it great can't write his entire life here but say he played well for INDIA. Great Rahul Dravid you are great bastaman of all time IF he had score his 100 on last match it would be better but it wasn't but score of 69 is not that bad Good luck rahul for you future See a report of him http://t.co/IUOKcH0T

I think Rahul Dravid is a great cricketer, one of the true legends of the game who played cricket as a gentleman's game both in letter and spirit. He has been this unsung hero, whose achievements at times have been overshadowed by brilliance of his compatriots. Dravid call him Wall, Mr Dependable or Mr Cricket, has always valued his wicket. He has bailed out the team under trying circumstances when more talented compatriots have struggled to put bat to ball. He is the perfect team-man who even kept wickets in One Dayers when the team asked him to. He will remain a role model for budding cricketers and will take a lot to even come close to high standards. Virat Kohli is one of the more correct talented batsman who seems to have potential to bat at number 3 in Tests in future after Dravid retires.

Hi jay, This is sad that Rahul Dravid's last ODI . He is a person who always kept low ptofile. Though he completed post graduation in business Management he took completely a different profession. His coolness is much deeper than that of Dhoni. He represented the Nation as a captain too. Because of his consistency people called him "Rahul the wall/ Now on his announcement that he would call it a day for a while there would be void.

He was a wonderful consistent cricketer of Indian Cricket team , he has always performed seriously in one day and test series ,only a few cricketers have some qualities like Rahul Dravid , although Indian cricket team have many new talented players but i think it is slightly difficult to take Rahul's position, his dedication for score and stability on the pitch make him an excellent player ,he has a great stamina and cool attitude which is rare in all players.

Rahul dravid is real classic test player for India. He prove his name of 'the wall', he also called as mr. Dependable because whole team depend on him to finish the game. It was good perfromance from him at the end of his career, it would be good if had made a century but for sure he scored good it was nice that he again stablize the inning to make possible India make a good score. My best wishes for his future!

Rahul dravid 'The wall' is one of the classical test match batsman. His contribution for the team india is remarkable whether u talk about one-day international or test match,he is "Mr.Perfectionist" in every field of game. Virat kohli has great potential,i think it takes times but later or sooner he will be able to take his place. At this young age virat kohli had maintain a steady position in ODI & TEST MATCH through his consistent performance. We miss Rahul Dravid in one day international.
