If there were no viruses, why would the people use antivirus softwares? Yes, you get it right, some companies do make viruses so that the anti virus softwares are used. Many viruses are spread for getting data related to surveys or for getting private data from users.

Well, I don't accuse them, it is called business. In business, you have to sacrifice someone. And if someone ever loses any private details or data, I call it his own mistake. Only a noob saves passwords in browser. Only a noob does casual surfing and banking on the same PC.

I was about to say that too. In order to solve something, there has to be a problem first. That is why a new virus appears everyday, which also translates to a new update in your antivirus. Many people also say that there are less virus encounters with a Linux or Mac OS, wonder why they said that..

Better use deepfreeze next time or an updated antivirus installed in your computer. virus nowadays are very tricky that if you have an outdated antivirus they can easily get in to your system and do their job. Of course the worst virus are the ones that clear the windows files corrupting windows and destroying the system. For what i've experienced USB viruses are superior than those you get on the internet.
