Another year older, oh no!

So the day is here. Its my 32nd birthday. Where did the time go? My husband is out to sea, but he did much better this birthday than my last one. He sent me a goodie filled box, pretty much a party in a box. The kids and I have enjoyed its brownie cake,cookies and gummies. He also bought me a piece of art which is also for our anniversary. I miss him so much today. I plan on making the best of it though. The kids and i will go to church, pick up lunch and go to dinner with a friend and her two kids. Happy Birthday to me! Now stop coming so fast.

Happy birthday! I love birthdays and think that another year is a lot more fun things to have done. Birthdays come and go, but so does every day we live. Let´s make the most of it!

First of all congratulations. Remember that age is just between the ears. I don't think I feel older as 10 or 15 years ago. I don't celebrate it anymore (bad memories of nearly all my birthdays) which doesn't mean I skip my kid's their birthday.
I hope your husband will be back soon. You can always celebrate no matter if it's your birthday or not.

The last line of your discussion is really funny but that is how I exactly feel too! I get a bit sad on my birthday coz I am a year older than last year. Time these days are fly by so quick. I don't really know where 2011 went!!! And it is September already
