What will you do if you're offline for 1 week?

If this would ever happen I'll go back to my old hobby playing computer games (offline) and watching my old DVD's. Of course being offline for a single day is too hard to handle how much more if it's a week. If you're like me (internet addict) then life without internet is boring. It's just that I always use the internet surfing ,downloading, news and many many more. I rarely watch TV now because of the internet.

Many feel they couldn't be without it. It hasn't been around that long where as people can't remember what a walk is in the park, without a cell phone in the pocket. Maybe take time to actually cook a full course meal with dessert, without having to look up the recipe's online. I would get a book I am reading, probably finish more than one in a week. Do some crafting, as well as enjoy the outdoors as I do now. What people need to do is take time with the world, shut off the internet and phones for a bit everyday.. Enjoy life for what it is, without being attached to someone or something else. Nature isn't online is it?

you're right. It's just about what we really are and how the things have changed. I got hooked on the internet that's it.

I am online everyday, I can go without it too. Does that say I am hooked, I don't really know. Just take time for yourself that is important too.

Well, I could certainly manage to do so. And I have managed to be without internet for a while. It certainly can be done. However, I find that, after a while, I start to miss not having the internet.

Internet has become very important nowadays because it gives much information. While online, I do a lot of chatting, surfing, and watching movies. I guess 1 week offline is such a long time. It will be boring. But if that's the case, I will just do my hobby of scrapbooking and sewing crafts. I know this way, I will be more productive even without internet....

I couldn't stay offline for a week because of my job. But i have stayed away from online earning sites for a week and was successful in doing so. If i don't have an internet connection, my phone is hooked up to a limited 3g connection. So if my internet is down, i still use my phone to get in touch with my online job.

well, if there is no internet connection now then maybe i have watched all korean dramas i have collected i would drown myself with those shows! also i would be exhaust myself with exercise, cleaning up my room, filing things in my room over and over again. i would watch t.v the whole day and maybe cook different mirienda treats and go out of the house sometimes and go to malls to shop and meet some friends that is to loosen things if i get bored at home. :)

Last time i was offline for a week we had traveled to our home state for a week. There was no time for offline games or computer at all. But many time i cannot get omine because of a lame internet connection. If i NEED to go online then i will have to uninstall and reinstall the moden. So if its not necessary to go online i will be playing "sim3" or "sims medieval" which do not require internet. Then when i try to go online later i can.

One week? This is worse than me jumping off a cliff. I don't know if I will survive this.

You mean besides go crazy? I can barely manage being offline for one day much more 7 days. I'd feel really bored and lost because I spend a lot of my time online. I watch TV shows online, read books online, go on humor sites, participate on these earning sites and look up various info. But besides feeling terrible about not being online, I'd most likely watch TV and play video games. I'd probably also organize my room -- something I've been putting off because of the internet

If I were offline for a whole week, I would probably take a short trip. I would also be meeting a few of my friends or probably go on a trip with them. Then there is the library, which I love to be at so much. I would grab a few books from there and read to my heart's content. I would even do some of my craft activities.

What I'd want to do is go on a hiking trip. Or go out and ride my bike. I really like to do outdoorsy things but as of late I have not been able to do so because I've been job hunting on the internet like crazy. :(

I use the internet everyday and would be lost, but would probably get more done. I spend more time here than I should.

I could probably live quite well without the internet for a week. I do love the internet, but I don't think I am addicted. The exception would be if I was expecting important email, business perhaps, or receipts, etc.If none of that was expected for one wek, I would be happy to find other activities. One would be reading a good novel, watching TV at night only, gardening if weather permits, and more housework. Not that I like housework, but it has to be done. My daughter and I are going away for the long weekend, and we are camping. We have decided not to take the laptop, as we want to focus on other activities, such as walking along the beach.

I have been off line several times for a week or more. I have even found it to be a good break away from the computer. I never really want to do it though, but I feel that everybody needs a break now and again as siting in front of the computer every day is not too good for the health. _Derek

Hi, Jacruz25. I will most likely watch movies all day long. My favorite movie station to watch would be Lifetime Movie Network. I also love the Chiller channel too. I also will go to the library to check out some library books too. When our Internet wasn't connected, I read library books almost all day long. I also spent more time reading a magazine too. I also don't watch TV as much now that I am on the Internet.

If I am offline for a week I'll be away on a vacation. If my system has broken down and I can't repair it for a week I'll take my family around town's natural spots so we can relax.I enjoy movies on Turner classic movies and I'll make it a point to watch all good movies there.I'll read a lot to make up for all the books and articles I missed reading while spending more time on the net.

I only go online if I don't have anything to do, usually during weekends. I think I can go a week without going online if I have something else to do. If not, I might go crazy without it. LOL
