I am planning to buy a LED-LCD monitor 22 or 24 inches and budget upto 14000inr for touch screen or 10000inr for normal. Tell me, with windows 8 around the corner, investing on a touch screen is good or not. Any brands , suggestions or tips i should be looking for when buying the monitor.

by the ...batter to go for LED not LCD for sure..as LED is the latest technology around than LCD...LED technology use 1 light emitting diode for the each pixel of a picture.. but now a days batter is HD screen and that is much costly...

So Finally after reading lots of reviews and watching both of them , i bought the 23" Samsung S23A300 since Dell had some complaints with their model. I didn't want to risk my hard earned money :-) .. i have become a Monitor expert..

Windows 8 will be released maybe late next year to early 2013. If you're in an immediate need for a monitor, then I suggest you buy now, LED is much, much better than LCD. But if not, then maybe you can wait for a while till the price of touch screens go down, I've tried Windows 8, and it is most useful if you're going to use it on a touch-screen.

just now came to know that the touch screen is around 27inr and what simple 23" is 11k . I will stick to normal LED with IPS panel..
