They say, "MyLot's for old people with nothing to do."! How rude!

Trust me they said! Then I asked them:"Look into my eyes and say that again!" They said the same thing without much of a shame! I don't believe I'm an old guy- I'm just doing my Medical degree. And hell yes- they're my classmates! I was asking two of my referrals- supposedly my offline friends whom I persuaded to join mylot. They joined all the same, only to remain inactive after a couple of days. I asked them why- and I got this reply! Can you believe it?!! For all mylotters who enjoy mylotting- let's come together and show how young mylot is! To turn this into a discussion: The question is: Did you have any experiences like this? Share and Enjoy!

I would pay them absolutely no mind if I was told something like this. I have not to date. See we are here and we are enjoying our time here. Unfortunately they have not discovered this wonderful site which has so many wonderful members. We as members know that there are all types of members here ranging from all ages. Just continue to enjoy your time here and I do wish you all the best in the world with your studies. At some point after you graduate and move on to your busy career, you probably will not be as free as perhaps you are now. But the one thing is that you will remember this wonderful site and if per chance have time will always try and come back here. This is a place filled with so much knowledge and great members.

Bunch of young impudent punks. Where's my cane? I'll learn those whippersnappers some respect. No seriously, people, that is one of the more unique excuses I have ever seen. One of the more absurd granted, but there are going to really a reasons why people are not going participate at myLot. This one may take the cake. Frame in and put it on your wall, we've really reached a new level of absurdity. I never ask anyone to join anymore because the fact of the matter is, no one who has signed up would remain active for all that long. There are just a lot of people who really tend and make all kinds of excuses. The fact of the matter is that don't have the imagination to be on a website such as myLot. They do not have the creativity. They are weak...WEAK! They must live a rather miserable life as well. Laziness all around.

Hi, ebook_freak. I have never went through this at all. To tell you the truth, I have never revealed the name of the site that I am posting on. My offline friends and relatives have never heard me mention myLot to them at all. That is very rude of your classmates to say this about myLot. They don't even know myLot like that to make such a comment! To really know myLot, one must devote their time, energy, determination and patience with myLot. MyLot is not for old people. I am 33 years old and I have been a member at myLot for four years now. I am very happy to be here at myLot. MyLot has helped me to deal with so many issues in my online and offline work. I was able to meet so many different types of people from all over the world. I never thought that I would get to see so many people here at myLot, but I have. I am so happy to be here as a member! These classmates of yours would be too, if only they would give myLot a try!

Well, I am only 21 and I enjoy to be on here and chatting, so I don't think that you can really say that it's something that is only for old people just yet. I do think that you might find a lot of fun in this website if you were retired and didn't really have much that you had to do with your life. In addition to this, I would imagine that the extra income would be welcome, too, if you were having to survive on just a pension and nothing else in your life. However, this website is fantastic for everyone who wants to earn a little bit of cash whilst having a good chat to friends at the same time.

I am not really sure where they get the impression that myLot is for old people, but I guess that they have a right to their opinion. Just because it might not be for them, though, does not make it a bad site. What really troubles me about this statement, however, is the fact that they are saying it like old people are a bad thing. I am not old, but I am no longer in my teens, either. When I was in my teens, though, I used to love talking with older people, because quite often they had a lot of interesting stories to tell and they seemed to know so much about so many things - I wanted to be as smart as they were.

You are right! Both video game addicts and facebook buffs! Oh you are really smart- have got a real hang on this stuff huh? Mind reading the young men. Getting paid for what we already do is fun right? What's the problem in there?

Even I don't have any problem with old people. I have many friends whom I am having personal contact- and most of them are old! Old people have a lot of experiences and they help almost selflessly, as far as I have seen. The problem with these guys maybe something like 'over-indulgence' in their youth. They don't think that one day they too will become old and die! (I hope they don't read this comment- or else I might die)

LOL! Well then I hope that they do not read this, because I definitely would not want to feel that I in any way contributed to your demise! It may just be my interpretation and not what they meant at all, but it seems that the "sitting around and chatting" aspect of this site is what they feel is for "old people". However, I bet that most of them play video games, which mostly involve just "sitting around", although there are a lot more out now that are interactive and involve movement rather than just controller input. Also, I would guess that many of them are on Facebook or some other social network. That is just another forum for "chatting", and you don't even get paid for doing it ... perhaps your friends are just mad because you get paid for doing the same things that they are already doing.

What defines 'old'? Is it when a person has no more ideas to communicate to others and doesn't know how to express themselves? Is it when they are bored with life, don't hear the birds singing and the wind whistling any more? Maybe your friends are burnt out and envy those 'old people' who still have a lot of life left in them and can find something to talk about here every day? I have no problem with others defining me as 'old' because 'old is gold' Good to see you back freak!

I have friends of all ages at myLot, and I think that physical age does not matter as much online as in real life : some old people are very young in their brain when some young people have never been young. I suppose your friends did not stay enough to know and enjoy plainly myLot. If all other myLotters are too old for them, they can create a "ebook_freak referrals" interest.

*giggle, giggle* I supposed that now would not be the appropriate time and place to mention the wheelchair, especially since it does not help the case here. I guess that we shall have to stick with Scrabble then, although we have not played that game in quite a while.

Mylot is not for old or young people but for all people. People with different interest that make the value of my lot increase with a lot of good discussions that help us to learn more about things in the life, about health, technology, bible, family, children and a lot of interesting topics more. So no! mylot is not for old, mylot is mine, your, his, her, and for everybody!. "A wise man makes his own decisions, an ignorant man follows public opinions" Chinisse proverb. So don't to hear to them my friend they don't know what they say.

viva the mixture of old middle aged and young here as it makes this old biddy so happy to meet and talk with people who are not my same age and with some who are close.Age is no concern, friendship and acceptance and loving kindness is what I have found here ant its what keeps me coming back often.

They didn't DARE to say it in front of my face LOL! But there are some referrals who signed in under me but haven't posted a bit in myLot. As in, 0 posts I think I really won't mind it much if I'm told that myLot is for old people since it's their own opinion :P As long as I'm enjoying here, that's all that matters. Besides, I'm earning here in myLot and they aren't. Lol!!!

bagarad there are young, older middle aged and seniors and so what?/ we all enjoy being here and to me those who think old ones are just nothing yes they are worthless to know as they will add no thing new and exciting to mylot at all .We are all here to enjoy mylot and learn and care and share so much. We have made lasting friendships and seen one other through all sorts of problems. we come to relax and to renew ourselves. What other site would offer all that in one place. not even facebook does all that.

Yes, they wouldn't add to mylot. Mylot is a place meant for all ages to thrive and be happy by mingling with each other. It is a virtual world- and like our present world, there will be all sorts of ages here(except newborns). Anyway enjoy mylotting. I regret that I had to persuade them to join in such a nice site and still say bad things about it!

Maybe is someone is only after the cents then yes it might feel like the site is only for those who dont know any other way of online earning. but if they stayed longer and read more and more of the discussions they'll get over that feeling and see that the people here have really interesting opinions. Perhaps they haven't encountered Saphy's whip yet, or else they wouldn't have been scared to say that.
