Reason for couponing.

Aside from the occassional one or two coupons that I get from the front desk, I don't do this regularly. But I can see what you mean about other people making this more than saving money. I've seen the shows, and they make it into a game. This is not saving money anymore as you can see that they are soon hoarding these items at their houses.

For me, I only use coupons on the things that I use so for me it is a means of saving money on what I used more often. I am not exactly coupon crazy and could not care less if someone saw me take a bunch out of my purse. I could have easily just bought the store brand even though some of them are not as good.

I like to coupon because I get a thrill over saving money. Especially if I have a really good high coupon amount or a coupon that can be doubled. When I'm at the grocery store and swipe my coupons and see the price of my bill go down, I get a little rush because I know I'm saving money.

I have always used coupons for shopping to save money but as my Husband has lost his job I have had to depend on it a little more lately. Now that we have pretty much lost our home to flood I am uber dependant on the coupons as I have to replace so many essential items. I have to make every little bit of money we have do double duty.

We don't have a lot of coupons on where I live but if we do I will definitely use it. I don't care too much with the stigma attached to it. I mean come one, with the economy right now, I will take what ever I can. When I do use coupons though I do feel good because I'm saving but the bad part is I will use the money for other unnecessary things.

Yeah the reason Iuse coupons is pretty much that I save a bit on the stuff. But the one bad thing about coupons, well at least for me, is that I feel like buying stuffs even when I don't really need them. The discounts seem so luring that I go and buy them
