Hi there, UT. That's great you have all this free time. Do you bore easily? I'm kind of curious as to how you came upon all this extra time in your day about an hour ago. Please do tell! First of all, myLot is a great way to spend your time because, if it interests you, you can most certainly make money here while solving your boredom! I would definitely take Stowyk's advice too. Do what needs to be done first because you'll feel better about how you spent your time. I'm kind of the same way. When I have extra time, I like to get done those chores first so that at the end of the day, I can sit down and relax knowing I got everything done that needed to be done first. I use that type of reward system for myself. I think time is all about balance too. If we spent all our time sleeping, that wouldn't be good. If we spent all our time eating...well, I think we all know how that would turn out. You see what I mean! It's good to balance your chores and responsibilities throughout the day with some fun things that you want to do too. If I were to come home from my full-time job and a long day of work only to have to clean house for the remainder of the evening, I'd be a basketcase because I had no time to relax! So remember to do what's needed, but also don't forget to do some fun things too! MyLot is always an excellent place to be when you have some time left over.

You know, you're doing well to set up a schedule. You know what they say, I'm sure - "Time is money." I never understood that till I got married and started taking care of my husband and my budget. Once I actually sat down and looked at what money we had coming in vs. what was going out, I felt like we had so much more money than we thought all because we told it where to go (bills first, of course! ) The same is true with time...you can budget your time and train yourself to go by that schedule. Geez, I feel like I need to practice what I preach now lol! I know that for 8.5 or 9-ish hours of my day, I'll spend at work during the week, but other than that, I really need to scrutinize what I'm doing with my time away from work. In fact, I really should try this "time budget" thing first at work on a smaller scale and see how will it works! (As you can see, your discussion has had a great effect on me!) I'm going to try this for a while and let you know how it goes! Thanks again and so glad your goal for finding things to occupy your free time has been met. It's always great when you can put your mind to something and accomplish it - what a great feeling. Take care!

Hi undertakernd! Perhaps you should look for something that you can spend your time on. What are the things that you love doing? What are your hobbies? What are your interests? These are the things that you can spend your time on.

set goals on what you want to accomplish. make a list of things you want to do in that spare time. if you lack things to do, tackle that list.

One of the greatest gifts given to man in this world is time. But if misused then it can also be a curse. People are lucky to just have some free time in this world. When you enter the corporate sector then they complain that they have no time at all. I don't really have to say this but time and tide wait for no one. When you have lots of free time i would suggest that you take up a hobby. That would be the first guess for any person here. Utilize that time and use it for something meaningful and pleasant. Parents always complain that kids unnecessarily waste their time a lot. I am sure there are endless possibilities for hobbies in the field of your interest. Coin or stamp collecting, chatting, rock climbing, swimming, paper crafts are some of the many interests. You are lucky to have all the time but make sure it's worth it. Some people procrastinate a lot and hence they rush things up and complain that sufficient time was not given. Many people have already given you plenty of suggestion in here and mine would be the same only. Just make sure that whatever you do and when you look back at it there's no regrets at all! Cheers!

First Get Everything done first. Don't get distracted and then you start concentrating here or whatever you want be at. Maybe putting up a daily schedule of things you should do can help, put first things first.
