i found out about factoidz from a friend here..he said that it is a good site to make money..but how??aside from that, is there any other sites where we can earn more money online??

I find Factoidz such a drag to write because every thing that you write has to be optimized for the search engine. If you write something that is not SEO friendly, it will be rejected. It's very difficult to get published at Factoidz. It's not a website for newbie writers, definitely.
Even though Triond pays very little, it's much easier to get published there. I highly recommend Triond for newbie writers. Furthermore the minimum payout is just 50 cents which I think anyone can accomplish just by writing at least 50 articles.

I am a newbie writer but I got my Article in Factoidz publsihed. They gave me 15 USD as quality bonus. I don't think they really require you to be a great writer. They only need you to write an interesting article about some of the topics they have. My first article was a review for a website and it was published 3 days ago. Earlier today, I just got my second article submitted and I am hoping that it will be published too.
