If thing that you means is "command prompt", then MimiPRGameFreak have already give a great insight about it . In order to make it appear, just go to Run, type "cmd" and then OK. And here is a complete list of the XP's command prompts commands. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/commandlinereference/tp/windows-xp-commands-p1.htm In order to know more about how to use it, just type "help [command]". Oh well, use it on your own risk, by the way..

You are very welcome . This cmd might come in handy for several case. For example, it can be used to unhide files that being hidden by virus that can't be unhide manually.. Just use the command properly and read the manual, I guess all would be fine..

You mean Command Prompt, also known as DOS. It's a non-graphical interface that allows you to interact with your operating system. You can type in commands to open programs and documents that can only be open by Command Prompt if you know the commands. You can also use the Command Prompt to back up your files and delete files. Usually when your computer crashes and won't start up normally, you will have the choice to use the Command Prompt. Computer programmers uses the Command Prompt to figure out if there is a virus or not, if the hard drive is corrupted, or is adding a new software into a computer. It's best if you don't mess around with the Command Prompt if you don't know about it. Don't want you entering a command that would causes to delete every programs on your computer.
