how can i create my own website if i have no money?

I really want to have my own website but i have no money..is there any chance i can have one? just wondering if having a website can really assure me to earn more online?

You can always get a free site from blogspot.com or webs.com. You can also get a free wordpress site. If you are a writer or if you intend to write for a living, for instance, you can always use your website as a platform to showcase your writing ability. Direct potential clients or employers to your website. In this way, you can hv the potential of earning more online.

Thanks for the valuable info, huilichan8! I will also try that, but I guess I already have accounts on those websites. I'll just check them out again. I didn't give much attention to those before since I didn't know their worth. I will check out if I still have those accounts with me. Thanks again!

You are most welcome and all the best to you!:) Btw, besides directing traffic to your website, it's impt to take note of a few other things: 1) Try to make sure you hv a title for every post, and try to make sure that the keywords are placed first because this will help the search engines to find your website; 2) Try to make sure you hv tags for each post because they will help search engines to find your website too; and 3) Don't write a new post everyday; instead, try to write a new post every few days because this will help in your page ranking. With a higher page ranking, this means that people are more likely to find your website when they do a search via any of the search engines.
Btw, I got to know the 3 points mentioned above through other people, who are apparently knowledgeable in SEO stuff.

Still another thought on websites does concern content. I bet your site is going to have something to do with writing. What makes me think this? Your topic/idea for a site might determine what option to go with as far as leasing or looking for a free place to hang your hat. It will also determine what kind of site you want to develop, blog, information based, interactive, sales etc...
If you are writer other people may love you or depending on what you write, conflict with their interests. Understand?

There are some sites such as freewebs.com which let you have a site for free. Obviously you can add premium features so as to make it more viable, such as to sell items through it. You can always try it out for a start.
It is a good idea to earn money online through a website. The key is to have an interesting site, with products/services clearly described.
You also need to market your website well so as to increase traffic to it. So you have to give some thought to advertsing.

You can make a free account at freewebhostingarea.com and choose a website like example.orgfree.com. You can then choose to install wordpress (they automatically do it for you), which makes it really easy to make your own website. And it's 100% free! I have already made 2 websites with them. In order to have your Own website you need to invest money my friend, addording from what i read and search. The reason why is this because once you have your own website you control it, you decide what you put, you control your hosting and everything. When you have a site or blog that belongs to someone else you can't really control it. Few months ago blogger as an example was deleting other peoples blog because it " violated the terms and service". When you have your own website you control it and nobody can delete it but you.
I don't know what you want your site about but if you don't want to invest you can get a free website. :)

Thanks Hazelme! I also have no fixed idea yet of what content I want. I will still need to settle everything. I was just thinking if there's any chance I can get my own website so I can start organizing my thoughts. :)
