Korean Drama Addiction! / myLot

Hello fellow mylotters! Maybe from most countries there are popular TV drama series. It is sometimes tiring to watch the very same plot of the story in almost the sane setting, right? In my case I can almost guess where the story leads and I can sometimes guess the next part or even the ending. It's not that I don't support our local talents but I just have a preference in the kind of movie or drama that I watch. Now a days, I am crazy about Korean Dramas. Well, I may not understand the dubbing and I need the English Subtitles to understand it but I am enjoying it. Maybe because of the different culture that makes a different way of thinking and ideas. How about you? Do you try watching series from other countries?

I like watching movies and series from other countries. I am pretty much addicted to Japanese and Korean series. The Korean Drama series comes on the TV a couple of times a week here, and I try not to miss them. Stories are interesting, actings are very beautiful, and the background music is always so enchanting.

my gf is soo into korean tvs and dramas... she dont really like the korean movies..but only the tv episodes..especially the ones with lotsa romance and teens story..

I love watching foreign films, I even buy dvds of Koreanovelas, Japanese dramas and American series mostly.

Because some of their plots are new and fresh and it's nice to know abut their culture and the views in their place too.

When I was kid, Latin American dramas (telenovela) was being popular on my country. Almost every TV station aired these one.. Later, when I was on junior high school, Japan Dorama (drama) got their hits on my country. And now here come the era of Korean dramas.. Oh my God.

Well, I ever watched them all, though - but not so addicted

. Up to now, I am just enjoying anime (japan cartoon) most.

I enjoy watched Korean dramas also. So far, I've only seen 2 series "Full House" and "My Lovely Sam-soon", but I plan on watching "Coffee Prince" and a couple of other series I don't recall the titles of right now. I also watch anime, and some Asian horror films. And I have IFC and the Sundance channel, so I've seen a number of foreign films there.

yeah, our country is crazy about Korean dramas too.

I like to watch foreign films but mostly they just come from Europe or America.. I haven't really checked out Asian ones like Korea and Japan..

Im also addicted as you are! I really love how koreans come up such a wonderful drama and movie. Its never boring at all, its always heart touching, you can never predict the ending, plus the characters are so beautiful and handsome! I never get tired of watching korean dramas and movies everyday. People around me keep on telling im obsessed with it, i really dont care its my hobby and im enjoying doing it.
